    Do you release Pokemon? What was the last Pokemon you remember releasing?

    I don't release Pokemon unless I catch it by accident and didn't mean to, but in a recent playthrough of Pokemon Black, I did release a few Pokemon because I had use them for a quick HM (because I didn't want any Pokemon to have HM moves on my main team) then released it afterward.
     
    Not anymore. How I used to be back then was that I would simply release any Pokemon that I had pretty much zero intention of using on a team, but these days I never really know when I might need a particular Pokemon, so I keep them in my PC until that day comes where I might need them in a future team in a different game.

    Plus, PC sizes have grown a lot anyway and plus we have Bank (for now) so for me, there's no real reason to release Pokemon anymore.
     
    It depends! I try to build a living dex of every Pokemon in the game, so I tend to catch, train, and hold onto everything. But, if I'm breeding something, then I might release the duds. More often though (if it's something better than just the standard Route 1 'mons or if the IVs are decent), I'll usually throw it into Wonder Trade / any equivalent. Spread the love, ya know? :)
     
    I used to in the GB/GBC days. Now. Not so much unless it's a double of something I already have

    I keep the ones I like in the PC box - the others I don't even bother to catch
    battling wild Pokemon to faint is what I been doing
     
    I don't release things too often, since I only catch what I want to collect/keep. When my boxes get full is when I have to force myself to look through them and release dupes of species that are just random catches and don't have a good HA or anything aha. Last I remember releasing were lots of worse IV set Cutiefly, since I'm breeding for a 31/x/31/31/31/31 shiny!
     
    i used to live the ethical trainer life back when I first played fire red. pretending I'm a good trainer that releases pokemon that I won't use hahaha.
    not so much now :(
     
    when i was a kid i didn't realize release was like. letting them go for good and i released a rando zubat and cried. so that should be a suffice answer.
     
    Last mon I released was a Castform in Emerald. I played by my usual rules where I only allow myself having a team of six. When I got to the point where they force it onto you I already had a full team. Since I had to get it, I decided to release it. Better than sitting in a box unused for all eternity, you know?
