MISFITS

As much as she wanted too, Kylie couldn't leave the room with he dead Mightyena. Her eyes traced the streams of blood to the pools they created around the drains in the bathroom floor. She wasn't upset at this point, more in shock. She had never been exposed to anything moderately close to this bad. Kylie shakily left the bathroom, walking as if she were in a trance out of the community center, going outside for a breath of fresh air.

Once outside, she took a deep breath, and sat down with her back against the community center and pulling her knees into her chest. She wondered how angry the probation officer would be once she got here.

She glanced nervously over at the two people on the other side of the door - the handsome boy who had talked with her before all of this ridiculousness began, and another girl who had seemingly just arrived and had no idea what was going on. Not wanting to listen in on their conversation, she sat, nervously toying with the zipper on her fanny pack.

Hmph. She liked this guy. He liked to engage in her witty flirt talk.

"Fine, that'll do. But if I end up getting gangbanged or something..." Pausing, Alex stared at the dude's face. "...then I'll still give you my name and number, 'cuz that'd be a cruel and devious prank. And I like cruel and devious." Turning away, walked in the building, which smelled of campfire or something. All the talking was coming from the men's bathroom. The dude was correct so far. Walking in, Alex saw the group of people congregated over by the shower. Someone was asking about his boxers. Oh god, she was going to get raped.
Pushing that out of her mind, the girl build up her confidence and announced:

"Hey... my pleasant thug acquaintances, I was just wondering if there was a dead Pokemon in here, and if anyone had witnessed the dragon-child in action." She was inferring to the fire-breathing.

But Alex needed no words, as her green eyes drifted over to the completely maimed body that was sliced into pieces and the blood that was splattered on the wall and floor. Oh, something had awakened in her stomach again. Out of nervous habit, she pulled her hair back and slipped a hairband on it so her dirty blond hair was styled in a ponytail.

Will opened his eyes, to find beautiful, sexy eyes staring back at him. Aaron's hands holding onto his waste.

"Its ok buddy, I'll take care off it" Aaron said.

Will felt instantly calm. Calmer than he had felt in a long time. He stood there...completely dazed...in a sort of stasis, unable to worry, or fret or even care. He stood there in beautiful silence.

He snapped out of it, the bathroom and the whole situation flooding back. He saw a flash of purple light over in the corner...was that blood?

"If someone had a Pokemon with fire abilities, we can dispose of the evidence much more quickly." Aaron said. "You're welcome" he added.

He turned and faced Will again, and with a feign smile, Will melted. Suddenly Aaron filled his head. All Will could do was stare back at him..then he managed his famous smile...the kind that girl's seemed to swoon over....just enough teeth...showing off his beautiful kissable lips. He was completely oblivious to any conversation that was going on.

"...I have a fire type, but why doesn't pretty boy here just do it with his puke?" Will heard Toby say as he kicked Grims in the arm. He started to stir. Will snuck another look at Aaron...who was still looking at him with that feign smile, apparently intrigued by him. A single voice filled his head...and he was sure it was Aaron's, but he couldn't make head or tails of it. He shook it off.

"My boxers are missing" Grims said, looking a little uncomfortable.

Will decided he was going to take care of the mess. He fondled for his Rapidash and called he out. As he formed, Will felt a sense of pride.

"Rapidash please take care of this mess, Fire Spin" He said, patting his head all the while.

Rapidash nodded and braced himself, sending out a thin stream of pure fire. It spun into a tornado and engulfed the now mutilated carcass. Obviously taken aback by the raw power and heat of the attack, the others moved backs against the wall. Toby, moving so fast, tripped and fell on the floor. The tornado raged for about 30 seconds before fizzling out.

"Good job buddy." Will said to Rapidash as he stoked his nose. He called him back, returning his focus back onto Aaron.

"Is that what you had in mind?" He said with a cheeky, suggestive smile.

Mike made a face and decided that the Psycho Cut guy - or maybe just the Psycho - was rather creepy and arrogant. What was his name? He should really pay more attention to these things. It was... something to do with metal, and wasn't that just appropriate. Steel? Bronze? Silver?

"My boxers are missing," said the guy who had been unconscious on the floor. He glanced at him before his gaze dropped rather unashamedly lower - not pervy or leering, but rather just curious. Hey, maybe he could try...?

His thoughts were interrupted when a flaming tornado brewed up and swallowed the already desecrated carcass. He flattened himself against the wall, feeling the sting of heat against his face. When it was finally over, he let out a whooshing breath and gingerly stepped forward. His eyes went back to the boxerless guy because, really, that was just an interesting sight. He remembered what he was thinking of trying before the inferno and closed his eyes.

He saw himself standing in the room, eyes closed. He could still hear and feel, but it was disjointed and he couldn't move a muscle. Let's see if he could find... a spare pair of boxers lying around. His vision seemed to narrow and blur before focusing on the boxers in question. They were slightly charred and had ended up under a sink, according to his crazy vision.

He opened his eyes and darted through the group to grab at them and handed them over to their owner. "Nice boxers," he said with a grin. "Also, nice," he said glancing down again, his grin growing even wider with amusement.

The fact that they had found a corpse in the bathroom was nothing but a nagging sensation in the back of his mind, now that the corpse was disposed of - the only thing left was that there was probably some madman hanging around and killing Pokemon and, well, there wasn't much he could do about that then, was there? He wasn't a detective.

Grims blushed, "Um, thanks, hahah," he grabbed his charred boxers and frowned, "Ya know, these are pretty much useless. I wonder," Grims gripped the boxers tightly and focused. He focused on a flame erupting. As if on cue, the boxers disintegrated into flames, which disappeared themselves once the fabric was consumed. "Sweet! I actually did it!" Grims was genuinely excited and proud of himself.

Grims then remembered the cute boy who handed him his boxers and made a comment on his exposed body, "You're the one who was dancing in the rain, right?...your name's...Mike?" He chuckled and gave the boy a flirtatious smirk, "If you like this," Grims said, running a hand down his abs and stopped at his exposed abdomen, just above where his jeans covered his crotch, "Then maybe we should find a private spot..." He turned to exit the premise, walking at a pace that signaled for Mike to follow. What Grims forgot to take into account was that since his boxers were incinerated, his bare ass was exposed as he walked away.

Once the girl beside - what was his name, um, Chuck - left, Kylie got up and walked over to him cautiously. She made the observation that she was one of the few not in uniform when she realized how loud her rainboots were. Her dress fluttered slightly in the wind, and she walked over and hunkered down next to him, again pulling her bony legs against her and leaning on the wall. She looked up at his face (he was taller than her even sitting down! Then again, everyone was) and smiled her prizewinning smile.

"I'm sorry about before," she said. "I just get, erm, flustered really easily."

As she explained this, she reached up and pulled all of her hair over her shoulder and leaned her head forward. The cool air felt good on the back of her neck. It reminded her of the beach, and for a split second, she imagined she was there. She lifted her head lazily and looked at Chuck again.

"I know it's rude to ask, what with all this strangeness going on, but what exactly did you do to get here?" she looked at him, wide eyed and clearly interested in hearing his answer. "I just need to talk about something normal."

Mike felt inordinately proud of himself when he made the boxers guy blush. Really, he made a guy with multiple piercings and a huge tattoo on his right arm blush. Now that was awesome. He watched with interest when the other guy burned his boxers with nothing more than willpower.

"Hot," he remarked, being kinda flirty and making a very lame pun at the same time.

"You're the one who was dancing in the rain, right? ...Your name's... Mike?" he asked.

"Yup. Uh, sorry but I really can't remember your name. I can't remember anyone's name, actually. Except Tony," he said with a rueful grin. And then the guy propositioned him which, honestly, wasn't the first time it's happened to him.

He couldn't stop himself from taking in the extra skin but laid a restraining hand on his shoulder. "Uh, sorry, but I only put out after a few dates. And after I know your name and other crap that nobody else seems to be interested in but me," he explained with a shrug.

Shade shook her head as she finished her smoke. "hmm, might as well find someone to talk to" she said to herself standing up grabbing her bag, she was one of the people who didn't have the orange uniform on yet. Looking around she saw Seto, but he looked busy, she also saw a girl with blonde hair and a boy with darker skin talking, no thanks. Giving up on the people outside Shade walked back into the center looking around trying to find someone to talk to. She saw a boy with Silver hair with dark roots and sighed Even though he called me a lesbian. He's better than no one...and perhaps I can convince him I'm not what he thinks I am she thought before walking over to him "Hi my names Shade"

Grims chuckled, "Congratulations, you've passed the test." He couldn't help but smirk at the cute, confused expression on Mike's face, "I say that to every guy I'd like to sleep with. But, honestly, I'd rather work for my prize than just get-it-and-go from a ****." He winked mischievously, "I'm Grims, a pleasure to meet you."

As Chuck watched his new friend walk away, in what he thought was a seductive manner, and his mind couldn't help but wander to what might lay beneath her tight fitting jeans, which led to an uncomfortable bulge in his pants. Turning away quickly to hide his embarrassment in case she decided to turn around unexpectedly, he turned back to his phone and all the messages he had received in the past few hours. After reading through a few, and seeing some that he almost considered replying to, the short blond girl came over to talk to him with a smile on her face that made him melt a little inside. He watched as she rearranged her hair and half zoned out after apologizing for some thing unknown to him.

"I know it's rude to ask, what with all this strangeness going on, but what exactly did you do to get here?...I just need to talk about something normal." She said to him with shiny eyes that said she was sincere.

"Petty theft, cyber-crime, and bank fraud. You know, the usual." he said, half chuckling and half sighing, "Quite honestly I don't know why I'm not in jail."

Of course he omitted the huge file that the FBI had been trying to book his whole family for since before he was born.

"So, what are you in for?" He said, purposely using the raspy voice of an old inmate in an attempt at a clichéd joke.

"So, what are you in for?"

Kylie giggled at his impression, and almost wanted to hug him. She could even play it off as part of the charade. A reunion of old cellmates. Or something. Instead, she sighed with a smile on her face as she began explaining.

"I stole food. Multiple times. For a man I didn't even know. He was homeless, and it was just utterly heartbreaking to me. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but," she shrugged, "it felt right doing when I was doing it. Until I got caught, and now my father will hardly talk to me because I 'tarnished the family's name'."

Kylie took a deep breath, stretched out her legs in front of her, and smoothed out her skirt.

"My father fails to understand that just because we're wealthy doesn't mean we're the talk of the entire region. I don't think anyone could care less what happens to us, honestly."

She looked back at Chuck and smiled again.

"I think you win, though."

Aaron noticed Will was responding to his smile.

Good, Aaron thought simply.

Then Will took the initiative to burn the evidence until only ash remained. Aaron ignored the conversation about the disappearing boxers as he focused on Will's Rapidash fixing the mess. It was very prideful in follow it's master's orders...

"Is that what you had in mind?" Will said, smirking.

Aaron approached the ashen mess and kicked it in all directions making it somewhat look like collected dust.

"Sure, why not," he said simply. He wanted Will to want to have him. This was a fun game to Aaron after all, yet Will was buying it like mad, it exhilarated Aaron that he had that sort of control. And yet he couldn't help but think he had a bit more control since the lightning storm.

There it was. A clear voice, and he knew it was Aaron's. Aaron was thinking about all the wonderful things he could do with this new found power of his. Will started to get excited. He had a power. He could read mind. But it seemed that he could only do this when he was focusing explixity on a person. He focused harder on Aaron.

'This game is fun...hes buying it! I want him to want me' Aaron was thinking.

Suddenly Will lost it. He was back in the room, and he could hear everyone talking. No voices in his head. He felt shattered. He felt that he and Aaron had a connection, something emotional. Aaron must have had used his power on him.

All Will ever wanted was to be accepted by someone. Be accepted for him, not his body. 'You fail again Will' He said to himself. 'No one wants you'.

The smile faded form his face. Trying to be completely normal towards Aaron he said:

"So what are you in here for then, breaking hearts?"

Aaron noticed Will's change in expression, almost like a frown. Had he done something to set him off? But Will asked a question instead:

"So what are you in here for then, breaking hearts?"

Aaron looked at him perplexed for only a moment, but answered nonetheless.

"I wasn't aware that hearts were needed breaking," he said indifferently, "in fact I am here because I was caught... nothing more."

He then decided to speak up with the remaining delinquents still present, interrupting what conversations they were having he stood where the pokemon had laid dead just moments earlier, the group being in front of them. He attempted to get their attention as he looked everyone in the eyes.

"I trust no one will speak of this to the probation officer. If they do, I just might have to kill them. Haha."

As he said this, he felt a small sort of ripple flow from himm, similar to the jolting feeling he had, as though issuing the suggestion or command, he just said, became something physical.

Aaron was beginning to realise that while some had fire and air as supposed powers, he might have some power of persuasion. This amused him greatly, and his mind ran into high gear as he began thinking in how this could benefit him.

"Ah, Grims. Cool name and nice beanie," he said grinning again and tugging on his own blue-and-white one. As long as they were on the same page it was all good. "So, I might as well get to know the guy who propositioned me under false pretenses. Pokemon? Any family? Favourite foods? And out of curiosity, what would you have done if I'd followed you with the intention of making wild love with you?"

It was at that point that the metal-name guy interrupted. "I trust no one will speak of this to the probation officer. If they do, I just might have to kill them. Haha."

His mind seemed to go hazy. The last thing he wanted to do was to talk to the probation officer about her dead Mightyena. Of course not, are you kidding? Just the very thought was making him wince in revulsion. He wouldn't tell her if she stuck him with a few hundred pins or tried water torture. Arceus, no, telling her was just a bad idea.

He blinked a few times and shook his head, his mind feeling woolly. When he finally came back to his senses, he heard one of the others (a guy he was fairly certain he' never spoken to before) address the creepy Steel guy.

"So what are you in here for then; breaking hearts?"

Mike furrowed his eyebrows thoughtfully. "Yeah, and what's your name again? Silver? Steel? Steve, maybe?"

After he acknowledged the group he was asked a question by someone else, someone with a common name he couldn't remember. He was wondering what Aaron's name was.

He starred at this guy in the eyes, and spoke in a charismatic, almost sadistic way, as though the memory of it brought wonderful things. But then he realised something, else, he could attempt to test out his theory of his supposed persuasive powers. He decided to really focus on the thoughts of intended persuasion and Mike's eyes.

"You can call me 'Agrippa', best not forget it either, as we might just be good friends." Aaron said, feeling the familiar echo from what he thought was his powers being used.

He never bother to asked for the other person's name however, and merely stared at him unblinkingly as though examining him.

After the Rapidash had removed the Mightyena from existance, Toby left the room pondering on Grims words. The lightning. Had it seriously done something to them? He leant against a pole in the main area, playing with his hair. So far, what weird crap had he seen? His random wind stuff, Grims had that fire stuff, the little girl had made him act weird, the other guy had made him act really weird. Did that mean everyone had powers? Everyone who was in the storm... including the probation officer? What exactly was going on? His train of thought was cut off by a voice.

"Hi, my name's Shade," the voice said. Toby looked up and smiled. The dike from before. Nice. Lesbians were kinda hot.

"Seriously? Your name's "Shade?" Sounds like a stage name. Or a porn name. Are you a porn star? Can you show me some of your work?" Toby's smug smile returned to his face.

Shade scowled "I'm an orphan and don't know my real name" she said crossing her arms. The nerve of this guy, first he calls me a lesbian, and then he asks if I'm a porn star. Shade thought angrily "I'd never do porn, and I heard the lesbian comment earlier and would like to tell you that isn't true" she said keeping her voice as kind as she could.

"My father fails to understand that just because we're wealthy doesn't mean we're the talk of the entire region. I don't think anyone could care less what happens to us, honestly."

"Oh it's kind of opposite for me, I think" Chuck said, making sure to avoid the dangerously close topic of his dad's business, "My dad's always trying to lay low because the amount of money we have. You know, racial profiling and what not. Plus his employees are like family, always on the look out for me"

Sometimes he honestly felt smothered, like right now when "Uncle" Lobster was driving along in his hot Mercedes in front of the building to see if he was going to need to off the officer anytime soon. Hell, for all he knew she might already be dead after letting him get struck by lightning the day before.

"I think you win, though." Kylie said, with her prize-winning smile.

He smiled back shyly before turning away to look off into the distance, now with a somber tone to his voice "Only, sometimes I wish I didn't, you know?" Thinking of all the girls hes played and the life he'll probably end up leading in the future as just another mafia thug.

Looking back at her, he continued with a happier edge to his voice, "But I won't be winning for long, because after this is over there is no way I'm going back to that life", even though he wasn't sure of that himself, which he was reminded by as his phone buzzed with a new message from Ashley.

"Well, that's actually really good news, right? I mean, like, it's great that you're not going to continue the things that got you put here."

When Chucks phone vibrated, she sneakily glanced over - it was her initial reaction, she wasn't normally a snoop of any sort - and saw that the message was from someone named 'Ashley'. She sighed. She almost sort of liked this boy a tiny bit - he had been the nicest out of everyone so far, and she had no idea what sort of mischief everyone else was up too, or where they even were. She yawned, and stretched her arms above her head.

"Where do you think our probation officer is?" she asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Suddenly, Kylie got that sudden surge through her body again, like the one before, when she had touched Toby. She winced, but ignored it again, still having no idea how important the feeling actually was.
