I got into a small debate with a friend over the controller that feels the most comfortable.

Personally I've found the GameCube controller to be the best out of any controllers I've used.

    What do you guys think?

For me it has to be the Playstation controller. With the L2 triggers not going completely down when pushed. XD (those ps2 controllers i think)
They're so comfortable and absolutely great for fighting games. XD

Either the Xbox 360, SNES, or Nintendo 64 controllers for me <3

I've been switching consoles so much lately that nothing seems to be comfortable anymore. But I think the GCN controller is the easiest for me to readapt to after taking a break. Other controllers I actually have to look and make sure I'm pressing the right button and I'll complain and say "why is this joystick in a weird place!"

my friends had a really nice ps2 controller that had rubber side grips and air coming out of it so your fingers didn't sweat, it was sooo comfortable

I lurveeee Xbox 360 controllers, they feel immense for my hands. Playstation 3 comes in close though. <3

360 controllers have a very nice feel to them, and they perfectly fit in my hand.

    360 controller for me.

I was sure this thread was here a few weeks ago. :P

But you're right. The 'Cube had the best controller, IMO. It's a real shame that they ditched it for such a gimmick (Wii), but ah well.

I've been using the PS2 controller for a long time now, so it has to be that. I recently got a PS3 and I'm finding its controller as comfortable as the PS2's.

My custom black ops controller. It is slightly smaller than the normal xbox controller and feels way more comfortable. I also like the ps3 controller.

I swap a lot and it definatly feels wierd when you swap from Xbox to PS3. Big difference. But out of all the controllers that come with a console. The gamecube and all Sega Genesis were ones that felt best to me.

    The NES controller.

True story; I just hate ergonomic shapes, same goes for doorknobs, cutlery, computer mice, mug handles, everything.

Well, I would have to say either the Gamecube controller or the PS3 controller.
Both sit in my hand perfectly and it is very easy to reach all the buttons with my thumb.

Ahhh, Gamecube, those were the days! XD

360 controller for sure. Not only does it feel comfortable and work well for any 360 game I've played, but when I use it on my computer to emulate games (N64, PS2, etc.), it feels pretty natural as well and maps easily. It doesn't feel weird to play anything with it.

PS2 controller was the first I ever experienced any carpal tunnel symptoms on, so by extension the PS3 controller is no good as well. Gamecube controller is pretty good but a bit awkward for me (although the Wavebird is waaay up there for how light it was). Wii is right out (worst controller I've ever used). N64 is just no.

...and I think that's it for controllers I've used.

    Gamecube. Definitely.

Or perhaps even SNES..Or GBA? Wii Classic Controller Pro.

i would say xbox 360 controller. followed by the gamecube. the two most popular ones i guess -_-

The Playstation Move controller is the most comfortable controller I've ever felt. It's much more ergonomic than the Wiimote and the buttons and triggers just feel spectacular. Even the Sub Analog controller felt great.

As for normal controllers, the Dualshock controllers felt the best for me. The 360 controller analog sticks and triggers are better, but the Dualshock always felt much better everywhere else.
