Ah, I've done something like this already. I could post it once I clean it up a bit.

Hey Mate. Would be really nice if you could post this :) I'm trying to 720 this Hack atm, and im currently on 500+ already in less then a week.

Only thing really annoys me on this Hack are the Honey Trees and Swarms. Both often Spawns me the same over and over and i think it will take hours to get them all finished. The legendarys im already at like 30-40 in.

You mean 721, as its all pokemon from Bulbasaur-Volcanion. 500+? Nice. I think I was at 670~ last I checked. I just need starters+legends from beating the E-4 a thousand times which is way too tedious.

Advice for Honey Trees: There is no way to speed things up. I think. I think changing my clock didn't work.
Advice for Swarms: Get a pokemon with lightningrod e.g/ Zebstrika. Place in the front of your party. Run/bike around for a bit until you get a call. I've put all the people who call you in the spoiler and what pokemon they correspond to. If it's not someone you're looking for, just say no to the call, otherwise, say yes. If you're unsure, just save before you run/bike and reload.

Other than that, its just beating the E-4 many times to get all the legends.

Warning: It's pretty large. I've seperated it into Kanto and Sevii Islands. Other pokemon are listed at the bottom. There may be some mistakes. I haven't listed floors for some caves like Victory Road because I'm unsure of what floors have specific pokemon. I've also listed what pokemon you need to evolve/breed for to get everything. Other than that, it should be fine. Tbh, I'd really like to place percentages as well, but that would require a lot of running around.

    Spoiler:

Where can you find strentgh, i'm stuck at victory road.

It's where it was in the original Fire Red. Find the Gold Teeth in the Safari Zone, its in the same area as Surf. Then go to the Warden's house in Fucshia City, its one of the houses directly to the right of the Pokemon Centre. Talk to the Warden and he gives you Strength.

    Spoiler:

Thank you very very much mate :) Your list really helped me out. Today i've caught alot of grotto and honey ones and alot thanks to your list :) I'm at 574 now. Btw. at the list is a little mistake. Poliwhirl is at Cerulean City, not Celadon (the Creator did the same mistake in his list :P) If my progress goes on like this, i hope i have this finished in about 2 weeks.

I'm still in trouble on 2 questions.
Do you know where i can get Spell Tag to evolve Haunter? I searched at any shop in the game and couldn't find it. Pokewikipedia says it drops from wild Haunters in Firered but there are non in this hack. Is this Item even obtainable?

And do you know how i can Mega Evolve? Somewhere i heard i have to Press L+R at the same time and then chose an attack. I tried this and it shows me the Mega Evolution Sign next to my LVL, but when i attack then, it doesn't mega evolve. What exactly am i doing wrong here? ^^'

For Spell Tag, irrc wild Haunter in Pokemon Tower can hold them. There's another pokemon that can but i can't remember what it is. Litwick? Or something.

To mega evolve, press start before you choose an attack. As in when you're on the screen with your 4 moves.

Thank you again :) I cought like 5 Haunters and 40 Litwicks, still no Spell Tag :( I hope it really is in the game.
I'm on 624 now, only missing some Swarms, 3 Hidden Grottos, All the Casino Starters, Gengar, Hitmonchan (this is really hard to get...), and 2 Honey Tree Mons (Pineco and Karrablast). After that i'm gonna grind out the League (sadly it spawns doubles it seems so this will need an eternity..) and i'm finally done with this game :D

I remember catching some ghosts at Sevii (Lost Cave) and one had the spell tag.

Okay, just did a quick search of this thread. The creator says its from pokemon that normally hold spell tag in the normal games, which are Shuppet and Duskull. Sorry about that, I was mistaken.

For Hitmonchan, couldn't you just evolve a Tyrogue? That's what I did, unless that's what you're having trouble with. I think I trained on Seven Island, at the entrance of Sevault Canyon.

(Okay turns out Haunter can hold it but only in FRLG so idk. It's 5% either way, so you're gonna have to keep trying)

I finally got Spell Tag, thank you guys :) I used a Stantler with Frisk in the Lost Cave and one Duskskull had it.

Hitmonchan is hard, because i'm just getting Tyrogue's with higher ATK then Def. Breeded like 15 Tyrogues. All had higher ATK :/ But i will keep trying. I think my Luck is just bad on this.

You could actually give it vitamins(protein/calc/etc.) to balance out which stat you need :) or you know, ev train which is kinda the same thing

  • iirc i was here when the hack was first released here and i just find it sad that this won't get any updates if soon, if there are at all.
This game was so smooth I even had multiple teams, they all had perfect IVs, EVs, Nature, Egg Moves and etc. The difficulty too made the game more challenging. I just hope the creator gets back and idk, just fix some bugs I guess?

Sooo... Since the creator has been offline for more than a year, and I just recently discovered the tool 'TL's Quick Enhancer', I decided to use it to add a couple of Quality of Life changes that I think this hack is missing. It's nothing extraordinary, but I think people will appreciate it.
    I'm talking about:

    - Being able to run indoors
    - A time box in the menu
    - Nature-colored stats
    - IV displays on the menu
    - Forgettable HMs

I named it Alpha 1.03 just to diferentiate from the OP's version.

Also, since I know jackmuk about programing, I didn't meddle in trying to fix any bugs (nor do I know if applying these changes created any other bugs) so save constantly to avoid any frustrations.

Aaaand last but not the least, the patch. Just use your avarage .ups patching tool.

  • May you make a patch, removing all gen 4 pokemon, and only having 386? like the Nameless Emerald?

Alright, I've been playing it through, and i got to say, I love it. I wish it was a small bit easier to find Mega Stones, as i've been searching for about a month for my Ampharosite, and ive only found 2 mega stones (Scizorite and Lopunnite).

Hidden Grottos are found all over the place, on specific maps. I don't recall what maps though; I think there's a specific list somewhere in this thread. You can find them by looking at trees or walls while facing up and pressing A. I think the first one you can find is in Viridian Forest, near the north exit.

Does anyone know how to get the game to run on actual hardware? I'm playing with a GBA Everdrive x5 and the game never makes it to Professor Oak's speech. Obviously the game works in VBA, I've gone past that part on VBA and made a save file, tried to play that on my GBA and make it up to the first rival battle where it freezes as he sends out his Pokemon. This is the only ROM Hack I've ever had issues with playing on actual hardware. Obviously this ROM Hack does something different, does anyone know what it could be? I don't mind having to make changes to the ROM myself, just not sure what could be making it incompatible with real hardware.
