NBC Heroes Fan Club

^ West?

I've read a couple of the graphic novels. They aren't bad, but reading them on the computer screen kinda ruins it. I'd prefer having them like an actual booklet or something.

Yeah, but since they're rather popular, I bet they'll be given out as booklets. Or something, eventually.
West! That's it! Darn...

I think you can actually buy them as a book in the US... that's what I've heard.

The US. They're always before Europe with like, everything.

Heroes doesn't air in japan, right? ^^ And probably not in that many european countries either for that matter.

I don't know if it does air in Japan. I've never read anything that suggested it though...

Wow, the club's becoming dead. XD

I'm finally into heroes again because my friends downloaded all the episodes so far and he's watching them all.

That's what happened last time between season 1 and 2, remember? xD

I saw someone watching season 2 yesterday at the video store.
Has the DVD box set for season 2 been released yet??

I've got the whole first season on DVD's that my brother made... with custom etiquettes on the whole discs ^^
Though, they're only playable on the comp. Hmpf.

In comparision, the second season really sucked. Nothing compares to the first. It made me love them all, but the second, I only watched because it's Heroes <3 and if the third ever comes, I doubt it will be equally good, the Suresh DNA plot is almost gone, and the feeling (will they make it before 8 nov??) is of course gone as well. Not a chance there will be a fourth season.

Whoa, sorry guys, really sorry... I suddenly bursted out in a speech about me missing the wondeful first season.

In the Graphic Novel, "The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei", Adam mentions that he's been known as Richard Sanders once. Could this possibly mean he's the ancestor of Hal, Niki and Micah Sanders?

I know it was from a while ago but I only just read it yesterday.

Aaah! REally? It probably does... the graphic novel tells about loads of stuff they never put into the show. About that girl who got....... cyber-d? for example.

OMG... *misses Heroes*

Yeah. And a whole bunch of other characters with powers too. It's quiet interesting reading some of those. But I guess they can't stick everything in the show, there would just be too much!

Unconfirmed yet, but I think the WGA strike has been stopped now.

Argh! Our news-person Flavaquil does it again! Brings us the breaking news!! (... because I believe you were called Flava when I first read a post by you..?^^ )

Let's really hope they will produce this volume 3 now then. It probably wont air here for a long time, (I don't think the second season has officially aired yet!!) but I'll..... watch it somehow.

Yep, I was Flava. XD (Kagami ☆ is so much nicer though, <3)
Writer's Strike Ends, Viewers To Get Network Shows Again
The three-year contract would provide screenwriters with residual payments for digital broadcasts.
Movie and television writers went back to work Wednesday after union members agreed to end a strike caused in party by disputes over new media. The Writers Guild of America voted Tuesday to end a strike that entered its fourth month and caused a work slowdown for related industries, especially in New York and California, where caterers, truck drivers, and other workers support and rely on the film industry. It also affected viewers' Internet habits, according to Chad Cooper, from the online video guide, OVGuide.com.
WGA members still must vote on a contract, in person and through provisional ballots. It appears likely they will approve the terms, which award residuals for content distributed via the Internet.
The three-year contract would provide screenwriters with residual payments for digital broadcasts. Writers will receive 2% of the gross receipts that retailers earn from advertising that supports content distributed via the Internet. That provision takes effect during the third year of the contract. Streaming video is exempt for 24 days after a show's original release to allow some leeway for digital video recording.
Cooper said that, during the strike, viewers turned to the Internet and found new content. He thinks they will continue doing so, even as they return to viewing their favorite television programs.
"During the writer's strike, we have seen roughly a 50% decrease in searches for popular network television shows," he said. "Now that viewers are anticipating a return to their shows, they are going to be catching up and re-dedicating themselves to their favorite series. We expect our big four network television series-specific searches to increase. International users will again flock to online video as a way to tune into popular American-based network series."

I'm glad the main part of that is finally over... we can get our Volume Three back~ yay.

Sheesh... Finally someone posts in my club. :<

On Facebook there's a really fun app called My Heroes Ability. It's seriously really fun and is more fun than other apps I've ever played. Anyone care to join me?

Okay.. I bring news again, except bad news this time.

Season Two is just that, Volume Two. Hayden Pannetiere has said that filming won't even start until April (and she's also off doing some movie right now) which means it is more than likely now that we'll be seeing Heroes Season three return in September instead.

You mean.................... season two was to feature volumes 2 and 3 first, but now they've decided to just get on and call it season three when the third volume begins..? Because they haven't got time to finish vol 3 in time for continuing the second season?
(I'm a whirly writer, I know..)

Season Two was meant to feature Volumes 2, 3 and 4 I think, but since the strike took so long, production won't be starting straight away so yeah they're gonna leave Volume 2 as Season 2 and make Volume 3 as Season 3.
