New Haruhi Season

I have only seen the first episode but really I know I will love the second season. The first episode felt like they were taking us back to the series how it was in the first season. The nice old timely feeling. I like. I can't wait till I get to the other episodes.

I saw the first two episodes. I have to say that the new theme song and ending will never replace season one's. As for the episodes, the first one held my attention a little more, but the second one about their summer vacation was kind eh to me.

Just watched both eps. I enjoyed both of them! But this is my kinda anime. I liked the bit at the end of 2 when Kyon just gives up on his homework and plays games with his sister. XD

OP single is scheduled for 7/22, and the ED single, 8/26.
By the way, Endless Eight #15498 has aired already.

That episode makes me feel down. I'd be screaming for help if I had to do the same stuff for 15498 times.

Are they gonna let us watch that dreadful summer loop again?!
I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END.

Thank god they never showed us all 15498 times they have endured. Haruhi not included.

I heard the reruns have extra scenes on them.

Haruhi-chan is back that's great news!
Guys does anyone know where can I download subbed episodes of second season?
I have only the first one

I recently watched both of the newest episodes for the second season. I didn't download it, but I know that if you really would like to see it, you can seach for the English Subbed episodes on Youtube. They are both found there and wasn't in terrible quality like some videos might appear to be.

However, I grew on very quickly to the new opening and closing of the new season. It is definitely great to have the anime back and running after having the first season awhile back. Anyway, the first two episodes were nice and even though it felt filler like I still found enjoyment within both of them.

I presume the next episode will be heading back to school for their sophomore year while Mikuru becomes a senior in the season as well, am I right?

The "reruns" episodes are actually just the DVD versions, which were slightly different to the original broadcast three years ago.

It should be Endless Eight (Part III) next week. I don't think they'll get anywhere near moving onto the their next year at school anytime soon. There's a lot more novel content still to go through.

In Japan, the school year starts in spring, so no.

I say that this dragging-out of Endless Eight is some marketing ploy from Kadokawa ! Those guys are using every means possible to milk the franchise for everything it's worth! Examples of this include the Haruhi-chan/Churuya things combined with their exclusive agreement with Youtube; the Chougekkan magazines; and the string performance thing ! (also the Haruhiism artbook by Noizi Ito too, but that was awesome so everything's ok.)

...Not that I mind, because I'm a dumb fanboy who blindly follows them, happily wasting all my foodmoney to buy their stuff. But still !

Oh, and, to further prove my point, the novel version only depicts the events of the last loop.

They're not even done with the resolution for "Endless Eight".

And I say they'll follow the novels. Maybe they'll do "Snow Mountain Syndrome" next? "The Day of Sagittarius" is after "Endless Eight", and after "TDoS" is "SMS".

Damn, I need to rephrase my words sometimes. I don't even know what I'm talking about.

Apparently the third episode has come out in Japan now, so I'm interested in watching it soon [Subbed]. I've heard from some members that the third episode was definitely better than the second, so it is intriguing to see what may happen. However, if it is anything like events from the first season, then all the better but I'm waiting to give it time to watch it.

It is fascinating learning the life style in Japan as I never really knew their new school season starts in Spring. So, I understand how it basically works now [Thank you]. Seeing as though the "Endless Light" still has more to go, then I wouldn't expect them to end it like I had thought, so we'll see what happens.

For anyone who has yet to get into Haruhi or are just want to refresh the first 8 episodes in chronological order, Kadokawa has kindly put up episodes 1-8 subbed. I find this slightly weird of them to do, but hey, it's free subs.

Thanks. Didn't know Kadokawa makes subbs (except for Haruhi-chan~)

Well I watched S2 Ep.3 yesterday. It was fun looking at the differences from Ep.2 I wonder how it would have been like to see the rest of the 15,000 for teh Lulz. XD

Yes, I too have watched the third episode and I find it went really well as a continuation right off from the second episode. I had found it strange at the beginning, but when I heard the word "Deja Vu" the thought clicked in my head.

As for about living the same two weeks for 15,486 times I believe it was, then I might go crazy if I found out. Overall though pretty nice, and it has kept me waiting for the fourth episode to see what happens next.

Oh yeah, I only watched the 1st season 2 episode, then I kind of forgot about it. :/ I will watch the rest of it soon though. (well the rest that is out)

Kadokawa (the company that manages the Haruhi franchise) gets profits from Youtube for the hits they provide to the site.

Also, they started purging MAD and other various user-created videos all over the place; only allowing the ones they approve of (and they have to be on Youtube too) to stay. Then they negotiate with the user who posted the original video and share profits.

Yes, that's right. Kadokawa and Youtube are trying to cash in on fan-made content.

I know! Outrageous, right?
