Do you have any ideas for new custom Pokeballs?

I have a couple and would like to hear other peoples ideas:
Dawn Ball - Similar to the Dusk Ball, this Pokeball would be useful for catching Pokemon during the morning
Weather Ball - Increases the chance of catching Pokemon during strong weather conditions (Strong sunlight, heavy rain, hail, etc.)

Looking forward to seeing some new ideas

Health Ball: increases likelihood of catching a pokemon with full health.

Condition Ball: Increases liklihood of catching a pokemon with a status condition.

    *ahem*

Do you get tired of catching Pokemon? Did you ever accidentally throw that Master Ball at a random Ratatta? Do you ever feel like just throwing something at a Pokemon without having to worry whether it'll be caught or not?

    *cue caps lock*

Hi Billy Mays here with my newest product! Introducing the Zero Ball! The only Pokeball that'll catch Pokemon ZERO percent of the time! Using a special patented brand of lock that is assured to never obstruct a Pokemon from escaping, you'll be amazed at how often you don't catch that "Gotta-have" Pokemon that you've been spending hours searching for!

As a demonstration, watch as I throw this Zero Ball at that Absol over in the distance. Like magic, that Absol escaped within the blink of an eye, and that's the kind of power you'll get when you use the Zero Ball!

Supplies of the Zero Ball are limited, and only come in packs of 6 for only 3 easy payments of $29.99! So order now at 1-800-ALL-ZERO! But wait! There's more! Call within the next 10 minutes and we'll DOUBLE that order at almost ZERO cost, just pay seperate shipping and handling! That's 12 Zero Balls at a value of over $110, for half the price! So order now! Again, that's 1-800-ALL-ZERO, call now!

    -------------------------

tl;dr Billy Mays endorses the Zero Ball, the only Pokeball that'll catch Pokemon 0% of the time.

I like the weather ball idea, although that might be a touch broken (bring a Pokemon with rain dance/etc or even say a Snover and suddenly better catch rate!), unless you mean overworld weather rather than in-battle created ones...

I think there should be all of the elemental-type Poke Balls. Using PlatinumDude's example, a Static Ball would be more effective than an Ultra Ball for Electric types, but only as good as a Poke Ball for other types. To avoid abusing these though, there would only be one of each available in a game, so you would have to choose wisely about who you use it on.

That is a great idea! Also, maybe ones for the specific Egg Groups as well.
And, I dunno if this would work, but one that worked better on legendaries?
EDIT: Jut realised that would kind of defeat the whole point of legendaries...

I must say, I love the idea of this thread. It'll be interesting to see what people come up with. Ok, so some ideas of mine.....
Pursuit ball: works better on pokemon that try to flee. Ya know, an answer to all of those roaming legends game freak likes to cram into their games XD.
Infant ball: works better on "baby pokemon" (ie: smoochum, bonsly mime jr., tyrouge etc). Their stats tend to be kinda bad, so weakening them can be kinda risky. It would be pretty easy to faint them by mistake.
Attatchment ball: if this is used on a pokemon that is able to hold a specific item in the wild but isn't holding one, there is a chance it will gain said item after it is caught with this ball. For example, if you used this ball on a wild pikachu that isn't holding any items, there is a chance it will obtain a light ball after you catch it with this particular ball.
Rare ball: Works better on pokemon that appear infrequently in the wild.

Just a few random ideas I came up with on the spot. Hopefully some of them are interesting.

Prison Ball: Mostly used by an evil syndicate, Once Captured you can not let it out again, you would have transfer it from that ball to another ball.

Evolve Ball: If the pokémon you catch is nearer to evolving than starting it will evolve when drawn from PC or put in pocket, If it does not Evolve then it will Learn an extra move and gain 10 levelss
If the pokémon you catch is nearer to starting than evolving it will devolve when drawn from PC or put in pocket, If it is a first evolution it will fossilise.

    Human Ball: Captures people.

I'd like something similar to what Eagledelt suggested with the Volcano Ball, I dunno what name it would be called but it would be nice if one was specialized for Fire types.

Roulette Ball - The has several elements of other Balls which vary depending on certain things. Basically it could have the effects of a Pokeball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Fast Ball, Heavy Ball, Lure Ball, etc. It's like the Metronome of pokeballs.

Neko Ball: Works well on cat-like Pokemon ("Neko" is Japanese for "cat").

Mystery Ball: Works better on Pokemon you haven't yet "fully" registered in your Pokedex.

Torture Ball: This thing is evil. Any Pokemon caught in this remains at 0 Friendship, in case you prefer the idea of using Frustration over Return.

Emergency Ball: Works better the closer your own Pokemon is to fainting.

Re Ball: As effective as a Great Ball. You can release the Pokémon in this Ball, and get the Ball back again (even while the Pokémon's in your party). Could also be called Transfer Ball.

    There was a Pokéball designing thread in the Art forum, and I designed a Sludge Ball;
    New Types of Pokeball

    Name: Sludge ball
Description: A somewhat different Pokéball that works especially well on Pokémon that are poisoned.

Magnet Ball: works better for Steel types. Also works better if the opponent is a Plus while your pokemon has Minus and vice versa.

Cold Ball: works better for Ice types and also Frozen pokemon

Sync Ball: works better for pokemon with the same type (or nature although it will be hard to know if this was the case)

Palette Ball: works better if pokemon is the same colour as your pokemon (sprite-wise, it's color will change to whatever color caught pokemon is)

Echo Ball: works better if the pokemon was hit by a Sound move the turn before.

Gravity Ball: works better against Flying types and Levitators.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone =D I love the idea of balls specialising in different types of Pokemon, I've had a bit of a think and have came up with a few names, I've tried to make each ball good for catching at least more than 1 type where possible in a way of making them similar to the Net ball (water & bug)

Volcano Ball - Fire, Ground and Rock (elements you're likely to see on a volcano)
Storm Ball - Electric, Water and Ice (elements you're likely to see in a thunder/hail storm, flying could be included in this for strong winds)
Forest Ball - Bug, Grass and Flying
Séance Ball - Psychic and Ghost
Venom Ball - Poison and Dark
Control Ball - Fighting (Name is a reference to the self-dicipline of martial arts)
    Silver Ball - Steel
    Sacred Ball - Dragon

    and of course...
    Plain Ball - Normal

Also I had another couple of ideas:
Dual Ball - Works better on Pokemon of more than 1 type.
Risk Ball - The ball with the best catch rate (excluding the Master Ball) but the Pokemon will escape the battle (bypassing moves like Mean Look) if the capture fails.
Skill Ball - Works better on Pokemon that have altered either theirs or your Pokemon's stats (Or maybe just for Pokemon that increase their own)
