Chit-Chat: New Users Chit-Chat - come say hi!

Hello! I made an account here ages ago when HGSS dropped and completely forgot about it. I've been playing for 25 years now since Pokemon Yellow, and now my wife and I have both finished Scarlet and Violet. The only generation I missed out on was 5th Gen so I assume every 5th Gen Pokemon I encounter is from X and Y lmao.

I'm a big 3rd Gen head, they cooked so hard with the Hoenn soundtrack that I keep coming back for more. I wish I could mix records with people online so I could see their Secret Bases. Right now I'm replaying Ruby & Sapphire on original hardware and just caught my first shiny in those games, an Aron! I'm shooting for national dex completion and plan to replace the dry batteries in my games some time this year.

I also collect the TCG and can't wait for Pocket to release next month.

Hello Aka-Pyro, and welcome (better late welcome than never ^^) to the forums!
It is great to see more long time fans of Pokémon are there. Generation 5 is one of the best, with all of its means to train Pokémon fast, among other things!
What is your team on Ruby / Sapphire ?

Due to some really bad luck my entire game collection was stolen in 2010, so this playthrough is going to be my comeback. The core of my original Sapphire team was Blaziken, Swellow, Manetric, and Walrein. In Ruby I remember having Swampert, Camerupt, and Shiftry as my core team.

I am but a simple 18yo guy who loves the good ol' Pocket Monster franchise, and also has a penchant for roleplays and random creative writing. If you feel like you ever need help with writing, or just need someone to bounce ideas off of, or even just someone to spark a roleplay...I mean, I can try, but no guarantees. I'm nervous, but um, hi! I'm just a 21 year old girl who's loved Pokémon since childhood. I'm hoping to share my love for the franchise with other fans, as I unfortunately haven't really interacted with many of them.

Thank you! I'm actually not sure if it was FireRed or Emerald that I played first, but I used to play them alot on the GBA when I was little. I recently beat them both a month or so ago, the Elite 4 in FireRed used to give me so much trouble lol!

I apologize for just now replying, the notification never showed up until today. The internet sometimes, man.. -_-
