Have you checked out Pokémon Gaia by Spherical Ice? It won Hack of the Year a while ago and it's pretty impressive looking. You can look through the rest of the threads in Hacks Studio and Progressing Hacks if you'd like to find more.

Hi everyone (again). I know I've already introduced myself here, I just came back because I'm just not sure where to start, if that makes any sense.

It's been a while since I've played Pokemon actively, which is why I joined, to get back into playing it again. However, because of this, my X/Y team are nowhere near ready for battling, and I'm not sure if there are any other ways to "socialise" with other players at this point. (I'm only at the beginning of X/Y right now.) If only I still had my old copy of Pearl!

But yeah, I just want to make some new friends but I'm not sure on the best place to do that at the moment without having made much progress in the game. (Other than the roleplaying section, which I will get to at a later date.)

Hey! I'm a little late responding to this, but I just wanted to say I'm in the same boat. (Well, for me, it's more that I'm just not too interested in competitive battling in general.) I believe I've introduced myself in this thread already as well, but it was quite a long time ago and I haven't really been active since then. For all intents and purposes, I'm "new", too!

It's just a quick suggestion, but if you aren't quite ready to battle yet in your actual games, have you thought of trying out an online battle simulator in the meantime? I personally haven't touched my X/AS copies in a long while either, but feel free to PM me if you'd just like someone to chat to.
