NFL: Predictions and Such...

lol The Jets lol...poor Jets :(

But, I would like to make a shoutout to the Cinci Bengals! Yeah, about Marvin Lewis...wasn't he supposed to be a defensive genious? Um, the Bengals' defense is like Jello...

And wasn't he supposed to be a big disciplinarian? Um, I think they've had more arrests than PacMan Jones at this point lol

I mean, they've shown lots of improvement, but the low-character guys are really hurting them. REALLY bad. Some change needs to be made, whatever it may be.

And that's not even touching on all the penalties Chad Johnson draws
Honestly, I'll take a reliable, consistent, and fairly quiet receiver like Housmanzadeh over Chad Johnson any day
 
And he gets more fantasy points lol...hey, I have Randy Moss, A. Peterson, and Willie Parker...and I'm a n00b at fantasy :0 lol

But yeah, the Bungals need to ship out those defensive players of theirs and get a REAL defense...I can't wait to see when the Phins play 'em. I mean really, worst Offense vs. worst Def will be fun to watch. If the Phins score more than 2 TDs that should be the last sign that the defense blows...really bad...as if we didn't already know that :P

So yeah. But hey, I hate the Bungals, it's pretty funny watching them lose. But it isn't funny seeing all the arrested players...I mean really, it's kind of sad.
 
I love Carson Palmer and Housh...and can't stand anyone else on that team xD
I hate to see such talent go to waste
I'm in my third year of fantasy football. I did two leagues in each of the past two years, but only one league this year
So far, in my previous 4 leagues, I have won 2 championships, made it to a championship and lost, and taken fifth place [only 4 playoff teams]
I'm currently in a tie for the division lead, and facing a weak opponent
I hope to make it in again this year and make a run for the championship
 
Well, I'm undefeated, so I'm starting Rex Grossman just for kicks :P And he's been winning :0 lol

I'm shocked at how bad the Bears' D is this year compared to last.

And there's a LOT of things wrong with the Bears D. Urlacher is hurt, Briggs is unhappy, Anderson is inconsistent, Vasher has been out a lot, and Archuleta was a bad offseason pickup xD

And I think their safety is out, who is supposed to be very good.

And I wonder what the future at QB is for the Bears...since Rex is just Rex...lol

But it's so much better when the Browns > the Bengals. lol

You also have to wonder about that defense. For all the talent they have, they are lacking any good qualities of late. They can't stop anybody...seems like a distant memory, that Super Bowl last year...
 
The Bears entire offense is in a world of hurt
They have one of the oldest offensive lines in the NFL...and this year it's starting to show. They ain't what they used to be :P
Cedric Benson has done nothing to prove he's worthy to be their starting Runningback, Adrian Peterson is better as a backup/special teamer...and Garret Wolfe is 176 pounds...heh
As for the starting WRs: one of them is 35 and the other one is non-restricted free agent

So the only spot on the offense that they have any stability is at TE
And as we already established...the defense isn't quite what it was last year either.
They should just rename that team The Chicago Devin Hesters

As a Packer fan, I have some concerns myself though
A lot of people think the Packers are set for the future because they are successful and they are the youngest team in the NFL...
but unfortunately, there are several very key players on the team who aren't so young...and I'm not even talking about Favre. I think Rodgers is a fine replacement
But both of the starting CB's are over 30....and none of Green Bay's backup CBs can cover to save their lives. Both of the offensive tackles for green bay are in their 30's (I think...correct me if I'm wrong)
I hope Green Bay goes after a CB in the first round of next april's draft....of course they tried that once. Ahmad Carrol *head hits the desk*
 
Oh, my Dolphins will be getting WHATEVER pick they want ;) lol

And "Come see The Chicago Devin Hesters take on some other team"...lol, that would be funny. the Devin Hesters...wow.

But meh, The PAck can get help through free agency and the draft. I wouldn't be too worried.

Why do ya think so? I don't mind it much, I just hate how overdone it can be and soemtimes it gets really annoying listening to the commentators. I'm so sick of ESPN. lol

I like the Sunday Night Broadcast a lot though. Old guyz in da booth. lol

Meh, I just wonder what John Kitna and that 10 win prediction...what was he thinking?
 
What I meant was it sucks that it's been moved to cable tv just for money purposes
MNF is amazing, and I hate the fact that it's not on basic tv anymore :[

And Kitna did what kitna does best. Gave his team hope, played at a high level, put up some stats....and then fade quickly after week 8
It's his trademark
Kinda like the Vikings did for about 4 years...or what the Giants have been doing a lot lately
