NFL: Predictions and Such...

Maybe so.

What do you think about Bobby Patrino? Just goes to show that college coaches are idiots for leaving to go to the pros, and Petrino is no exception. Talk about talking of big game and then doing nothing :0

Yeah, he's a total coward
Didn't even stay a full year. that's just ridiculous

gah LaRon Landry just made an idiot play. He made a GREAT hit on Burress on the sideline forcing him to drop the pass....and then taunted him. 15 yard penalty making it 1st and 10 instead of 4th and 1

Rookie mistake X_x

BUT MY DOLPHINS WON!!!!!!!!!!! Next up! the Pats! Wait...crap!

I think Green Bay gets home field advantage. That is, if Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys play like they did against the Eagles for the next two games.

And Indy will knock those Pats out in AFC title game (I hope the Dolphins defeat the Pats, that would be sweet!).

WIN. lol

I think the homefield of the Pats might hurt because...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Might hurt the passing attack...I think the Colts exact revenge on the Pats FINALLY beating them in Gillete Stadium in the Playoffs. The Pats are overrated. Seriously.

I think the Jags would also have a shot at pulling the upset.

I HOPE Green Bay gets homefield advantage, but I dunno if it will happen or not.
Pro Bowl rosters were released today
4 Packers made it :]
Favre, Kampman, Harris, and Driver
The weird thing is, I think Woodson deserved a pro bowl FAR more than Harris. I love Al Harris, but he's not having a good year. He's had his struggles. ah well, I won't complain. This makes up for all the years where he got gypped out of the pro bowl :P
And once again, Nick Barnett falls just short :[
Lofa Tatupu and Patrick Willis are the middle linebackers in the pro bowl...Barnett and Brian Urlacher can't be pleased I'm sure xD
although really, lofa and patrick definitely deserve it. they're having GREAT years

Yeah, it was njice to see Sean Taylor in the Pro Bowl. It wasn't just to honor him either...he was dang good before his tragic death. It's a shame what happened.

Also, the Cowboys having 9 players, or 11, or whatever it was, was just totally ridiculous.

But my PHINZ got The Tuna to be the VP of fottball operations or whatever. We might show some turnaround the next few seasosn. Just look where the Chargers were in '04 vs. last year :P

Yeah maybe Tuna is just what they need to get those players in shape. he won't put up with excuses, that's for sure

Good :P

I'm just looking forward to the plauyoffs. It's a shame the Browns aren't going to get in most likely :(

I really hope they can pull that off. All the Browns want for Christmas is a playoff birth :0 I'll do my playoff bracket soon, even though I'm into March Madness a lot more :P

Yea..the browns will most likely get it...Although you never know, since the Colts wont play starters...Look for Marvin Harrison to play however. I believe he is going to play a few snaps to prep him for the play offs.Come the second half, it will most likely be about 80-100% back ups in for the Colts. However, Also, as far as Miami, and Bill Parcells go, You may very well be looking at, and I Emphazies "NEXT" when I say you might be looking at the NEXT Dynasty in Miami. That may be stretching it, BUT regardless there Worse days are behind them regardless if they Win 30 more Super Bowls under Bill, or AT LEAST get into the playoffs. Look for him to be aggressive, and look for him to go after Chad Pennington in the off season if the opportunity presents itself, being that the Jets are past him most likely, and they now have Kellen Clemens. They might however, go for Brady Quinn over in Cleavland, being that the odds of him playing ANYTIME soon is particularly low since Derek Anderson has impressed, but thats very unlikely seeing how Derek only has 1 season under his belt, and he could have a total MELT DOWN next, so he is still a Liability. Also, look for them to part ways with Jason Taylor, and Zach Thomas. More Zach Thomas then Taylor. Taylor can still be utilized, as to where Thomas is old, and less flexible as to where he can play. As for the Draft, they just might go for a QB, which will cancel the Pennington idea, BUT not entirely. Pennington will more then Likely be gone, maybe to Edwards down in Kansas City. Now, the Jets will most likely have the 4th pick in the 1st round of the Draft. Look for them to either go for a Defensive end or Darren McFadden. Now, if the Jets go with a DE, then New England who has the #5 pick since they traded with the 49ers(Which btw was a STUPID move on the 49ers part) NE will then grab Darren McFadden.

hate to burst your bubble, but a couple points:

1: Charlie Frye is no longer a Brown. He was traded to the SeaHawks almost 4 months ago
2: Derek Anderson is likely to be traded when the season is over
3: The Dolphins spend a fairly high pick on John Beck, so I think they'll give him at least a year or two to prove himself
4: Bill Parcells anounced today that he expects Jason Taylor to be the main guy he builds this team around

sry I meant Brady Quinn. Also, you are absolutely stupid for even suggesting Derek Anderson is getting traded. They gave him a Contract Extention in like week 6. Also, Jason Taylor said himself He would like to stay a Dolphin for his entire Career, but it doesnt look like it is going to be that way after this season. So hate to burst your bubble :D

gotcha

A tad uncalled for?

Not completely true. He was given the TENDER. which is a one year deal and it's basically just restricted free agency. Any team can trade for him and get him with a 1st and 3rd round draft pick OR any offer the Browns accept
Usually when someone is given a tender, it means the team wants to trade them and is making sure they don't become a free agent. This way the Browns gurantee they get SOMETHING for him. he can't just run away free
Also, Jason Taylor said himself He would like to stay a Dolphin for his entire Career, but it doesnt look like it is going to be that way after this season.
eh, I think Taylor has more loyalty than that. I think he'll either stay with the team, or he'll retire. I doubt he'd leave the team and his best friend [Zach Thomas] just because they are struggling

I dont mean you when I said the stupid thing, I meant in general lol sorry bout that I get a little touchy when it comes to Football

EDIT: Also, the Jason Taylor thing, It isnt his call to leave, Hizanga, or h/e u spell his name wants him gone because this year they say he is showing old age.

And I am almost POSITIVE they gave an actual extention to Anderson, I remember them talking about it on ESPN and it was Going across the ticker.

Heh, understood. It's all good
Now you're point about Zach Thomas getting older and maybe getting cut...
I don't necessarily think he's career is over, but IF it is, then it could be the end of Jason Taylor too. As I said earlier, the two guys are best friends. The combination of age, a bad team, and loss of his best friend could be what pushes Taylor to retirement

Well I dont think Thomas will call it quits. The only reason I would say he does, is because of his Concussion that he got this past year. If anything They might go to a weak Defense that needs Leadership for a year or so. Who knows. Miami's main concern is going to be a QB
