I'd go for the normal one :
the shiny variant feels "too pink", whereas
the regular variant is more reminiscent of the waters.

Alrighty, let's see...
How about blaziken, whose shinies are similar to the regulars?
Would you prefer the regular variant, with a good all-round saturation,
or the shiny variant, darker but with the head plumage giving a higher contrast and the slightly gold-tinted mega? (click "spoiler" to display the variants)

I'd say blue because it gives a more relaxing feeling... Aw, gosh I'm late...
Uhm... I guess shiny. It's "7,8/10 too much pink" but has both higher overall
saturation and contrast compared to the regular(besides, there's not much
gray is reminiscent of, aside rainclouds and building materials...)

Hmm...how about...
How about Arceus?
Would you prefer the shiny variant, with a golden coat giving saturation
or the regular variant, giving higher contrast?

Shiny, with its good saturation, dark blue.

Let's see, uh...
Lucario, extremely recurrent since gen 4! (I'm one of the few who appreciates the sky-blue and gold combo)
