Did anyone else find the introduction to the game creatively nostalgic? I know for me, when I saw the GBA-style welcome, I felt like I was 12 again, playing the third generation games for the first time. Then suddenly they transition into the 3D world of the actual game. To me that was one of the most incredible moments of the entire game.

I actually found it pretty cool I admit, it's really different to how most games introduce yourself so it was nice to see they do it on a game system you're holding while inside the truck this time around.

It's a very epic change to a commonly reused intro and they did it very well, to remind you of the nostalgia.

My heart (as well as my friend's) got moved into pure nostalgia mode since our first Pokemon games are RSE, so the introduction screen really caught us surprised.

And then the screen pans into a game system that you're playing in a truck. Oh man, that is such an amazing way to start ORAS.

I adored the intro. Sapphire was my favorite Pokemon game and the way it was remade was beautiful.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Nostalgia Intro

    basically my reaction. gg gamefreak

I enjoyed the intro a whole lot too. I was stunned when I see the intro both retro and feeling new at the same time. Game Freak must have a really good job at showcasing good 'ol sprite of Prof. Birch, the sudden switch to the 3D environment and showcasing tons of Pokémon roaming as I was inside of the truck.

My first reaction when I saw the intro was 'Wtf I did bought Alpha Sapphire right' Then it turned into 3D and I was like 'Wow that was awesome'

I loved it, it was so unconventional of the typical introductions yet it still stayed on point. I'm sure it really surprised a good chunk of people, too.

I know I admit I teared up a little too. Even when I was doing my recordings, I think it's noticeable I choke up seeing that big wave of nostalgia hit me.

It was incredable. Sapphire the first pokemon game I ever played and AS the first 3d pokemon game. I honestly don't think I have enough words to express how amazing the feeling was to see that intro. Love it to bits!

The intro to OR/AS was so so so welcome. I actually find that they handled the nostalgia factor really well without being tacky at all. It really brought me into the experience without trying to sell the game on past experiences. Truly one of my favourite nods in the series. It's one of the few things in Pokémon that has made me smile these last few years and restored a lot of faith in the games.

My thought when I first saw this was, am I really seeing what I think I am? It was not what I bet a lot of people expected. They must have actually been thinking of the classic fans with this one.

I thought the game was gonna be with RSE graphics the whole time for a second when I first saw it, got a little worried that I just blew a bunch of money on the games, but it was pretty awesome how they did it. That's how a remake should be done.
