Level 0 (Night)

As night fell on Novelty Pokemon Island, the eggs that Professor Oak had scattered around were starting to hatch. Who knew what ordeals would await for them, and the surprises that were about to be in store? They were all about to set off on an adventure of which Ash Ketchum himself would be jealous! And, come to think of it, Ash's most famous companions had already managed to find each other on the island...

Night will end in 25 hours time, at 10:00pm BST (GMT+1 - British Daylight Savings Time). Please ensure that you get any night actions in to me before the deadline.

Rules and Mechanics

  1. Please be civil to one another. This is only a game; we're not opening the Ark of the Covenant.
  2. Each day phase will last approximately 48 hours, and each night phase will last approximately 24 hours.
  3. Unless stated, you can't target yourself with your Night Action.
  4. Lynch votes must be written in the format of [#LYNCH] Username. If you want to change your vote, you must use the format [#UNVOTE] Username. Not following this format will result in your vote not being counted.
  5. Votes for a no lynch/abstaining are NOT allowed.
  6. A tied lynch vote will result in a coin toss to determine who gets lynched.
  7. Missing two consecutive lynch votes will result in your removal from the game.
  8. Do not share PMs for any reason. If you do, you will be removed from the game immediately.
  9. All important game conversation should be kept in the game thread, or in any relevant Discord chat.
  10. If you are dead, please stay dead. Don't post or 'like' any new posts. You do get to post a single "death post" that may not contain any game-related information.
  11. Posting in the night phase is not allowed, unless stated otherwise.

Level 5 (Day - Rainy Weather)

Porygon was first to break out of its eggshell. With the latest GPS inbuilt, it had produced a full-scale map of the island in its mainframe, and proceeded to identify what it thought was the most at-risk Pokemon in order to help with its Magic Coat.

Upon discovering that Pokemon to be fine, shortly afterwards, Porygon was cornered by the Starter Pokemon, who were feeling very luddite about technology:

"Look at that thing, it's not even a real Pokemon."
"It's just a bunch of metal bits and 1s and 0s that humans put together."
"I bet it can't even fuck."
"Let's kill it."

And they did. I'm not sure where they learned such salty language, but these critters sure are evil!

Elsewhere, the other critters were hatching from their eggs and doing their own nighttime exploring on the island. Delibird gave out a present to one lucky Pokemon; Ditto squelched over to an interesting Pokemon and used Transform; Smeargle sketched its first picture, though wasn't too happy with the results; and, as the sun started to rise, Castform floated up into the sky, upon which clouds developed and started to rain.​

Aaron has died. He was Porygon.​

Yes, the doc died, but at this point it's a near enough random shot.

I'd propose we think of the player rather than the role, but Aaron doesn't really have any "beef" with anyone, so I suppose he was targeted for being a good player, but perhaps under the doc's radar? Can't say I can really incriminate anyone from this n0.

As for this day, we could do as we've done in both previous games, and make attempts to interpret the role list, but idk if that might be more beneficial to the mafia.
 
First off, why don't we establish what everyone can do

More likely that it copied a vanilla, since it just wouldn't have used its ability if it copied dead roles.
 
I'm more concerned by the fact that Mafia evolves by level up twice, and only few innocents (only one of them by level up) can actually evolve. This concerns me very much.
 
Congratulations on your premature death.

Naku's list looks pretty accurate tbh, wouldn't have expected ditto to be detective but I don't see what else could be it.

and the mafia will be evolved tomorrow and fully evolved day four

magikarp won't evolve until night four, and the item evolutions are all up in the air.
