Braviary - Wargle
Patrat - Minezumi
Gothitelle - Gochiruzeru
Reuniclus - Rankurusu
Cofagrigus - Desukan
Drilbur - Mogurew
Axew - Kibago
Woobat - Kokomori
Musharna stays the same \o/

Dust Proof is no Overcoat, Sandpower is Sand force, Sand Strength is now Sand Rush.

Double chop is now Dual Chops, Heart stamp stays the same. You first is after. .___.

Free fall is now sky drop.

Mokomo is called Fennel.

Desukan.. what have they done to you? :| <33

Yeah, I just read this.

The names given on Serebii match the names posted on Pokéjungle, I wonder if all the names on Pokéjungle are correct?
 
Those names are, once you realise their meaning, are all right
and i think these names will be like cool... soon
and the big english name list

As much as I LOVE the name Wargle and think they could easily have kept it rather than keeping Musharna, Braviary is ok.

Gothitelle is just funny xD;

Drilbur and Axew are interesting... Kibago sounds a lot better than Axew though, I don't really see where they got that name :/ Drilbur has a ring to it that kind of fits the pokémon.

The others, no comment.

Yeah, I prefere Wargle to Braviary, it's much easier to say and I'm much more used to Wargle
and with Axew, I noticed that name and It intrested me, I like it.

Ah I am looking forward to the rest of the Pokemon if the rumored names are indeed true.... Serperior, Zebstrika, Whimsicott, Escavalier, Volcarona. Better than Woobat and Sandile, hehe. :)
 
I'm cool with all of these names, except I'm kind of confused that Wargle didn't get to keep its original name. What compelled them to change a name that was already in English? Oh well, Braviary doesn't sound bad at all.

I like these names BUT NOOOOOOOOO THIS MEANS THE RUMOURED NAMES ARE LIKELY TO BE CORRECT (since amazingly they all match DDDD:)

I don't like Denchura's rumoured name. ;____________;

Axew and Wargle's is nice, though!
 
Braviary could be a pun on Bravery

Patrat is Patrol and Rat

Reuniclus is Reunite and Homocolous

Drilbur is Drill and Burrow

That's all I understood from the names so far.

 
Some names are growing on me a little....I think it's probably more so the thought that they weren't real that made me dislike them at first. That and the names are still frightfully long. They're pushing the ten character thing to it's limits. :p

Dwebble is so cute :3

Haxorus is funny, you'll have people screaming "Hax!!11! Hax!1!1" if you ever beat them with one. XD
 
I think Braviary is a mix of "Bravery" and "Aviary" (like a shelter for birds)

I don't understand the significance of "Karrablast" in relation to the pokemon (kapurumo)....I can see blast but I don't really get what blast has to do with kapurumo...

The Galvan part of Galvantula is a bit lost on me also..

It's very interesting how the Dark/Steel type pokemon have references to pawn and bishop in their names.

Could they actually be based on chess pieces? It reminds me of the checked pattern on the game box actually....and Team Plasma being knights.
 
early rumors are a bit of a spoiler alert for me, so I'll just keep using Japanese names for now. And while I love all these names, I cant help but be annoyed by Cofagrigus. Notice how it has a certain word in it? Not that I'm against gays, I'm a gay supporter.
