Awesome to meet you Arca! Fun thing to know, the resident moderator of this section (and a couple of other sections as well) happens to be Canadian himself, with some Jamaican background thrown in, and maybe he might say hello to you sometime soon?
That said, how are you enjoying the competitive battling scene? Did you find X/Y great games? I certainly did enjoy them, but I feel the memories were stronger for me during Black and White fo some reason. Swirly recommended the Battling & Team Building section for your competitive needs, and even X & Y for discussing said games.
There's more to do than just that, and you'll be kinda surprised how heartwarming this forum really is so stick around to see that proven. Good luck and we'll catch you around!

Yeah, Pokemon X is my second favorite Pokemon game of all time; I had ab last playing it. I loved how they added the mega evolutions, do you battle on Pokemon Showdown? I used yo battle competitively in 5th. gen but not as much anymore. Nice seeing you, welcome to the site. :)
