Oh wow, people here take drinking that seriously? It's not something to stress over. I've drank many times and I've even been caught by the cops one time last year, and all they did was call my parents and got my mom to come take me home.

A lot of my friends have parents who buy them their alcohol, or their parents know they drink and are alright with it as long as they don't get too wasted.

It's really not that big of a deal, but I guess since we come from different places, we have different opinions. Here, everyone drinks.

Idiot. Complete and utter idiot. But what teenager doesn't do something stupid like drink or try a cigarette. Or 5. But that's not the matter. If he did get drunk and he was in a gang step away. Things can get messy as he could be called on anytime. Once a member always a member. he could be doing stuff without telling you one day you are walking down the street with him and bam you have a bullet in your head. You know why? Enemies. So I suggest if you get the truth step away and if he tells you he doesn't want to say cause he wants to forget or some bs step away. Never a good thing to mix in with a bad crowd like that and 3 years older too.
 
Poker Face is right lil sis, when a guy is drunk he doesn't know the difference between friends and other people, and I don't know how he's like when drunk, since it depends from person to person, but if he's the violent type I don't recomend you to be around him, also he could have bad influence on you. Anyway take care, and maybe getting arrested snaps some sense into your friend's head :D
 
Make sure to record it and post it on YouTube. Then everyone around the world can call him a dumbass instead of just us.

Haha. Amen to that. I know stupid kids that start drinking and smoking at 13 or so. I know they can't be much older than that because I've seen'm go the middle school (I live right down the street from it, they walk by my house all the time). They're loud and annoying and the kind of kids you just want to go out there and beat the **** out of all of them. But hey, not my fault his parents suck.

As to the topic at hand, it's good he didn't get arrested, but from the sound of it, sounds like he'll be arrested soon enough (if he hasn't previously that you don't know of). I can tell you this much, friends getting arrested change the way you look at them (unless you are part of his gang, then they look at it as a sign of 'respect' or 'being hardcore' - but then those guys in the gang aren't really his friends anyways). Had a buddy of mine get out of the Navy, landed a great government job, bought himself a house, new car, then got arrested for rape charges. I have no desire to ever see him again now.

Anyways, should have been arrested. Probably needs his ass beat too, but hey, what would the world be like with stupid kids?

Well if he is fifteen and drunk while driving or out in public, he deserves to be arrested. Maybe it will set him straight.

Don't get drunk as a minor. And please, don't use a freaking car while drunk!

This post reminds me of when you tried to ask us if a baby wanted to molest you because it was staring at your boobs. They're teenagers. The age where you're curious about alot of things. I'm probably going to get a reply going something like this; "THEY DON'T NEED TO RESORT TO TRYING IT, THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT IT DOES TO THEM." I'm not really going to be bothered to reply, so I'll just respond to you now:

Most adjusted teenagers I know drink from the age of thirteen. It's not illegal to be drunk underage. It's illegal to buy/steal/drink in public. But I've never heard of someone being arrested even when they have been in possession of alcohol underage and drinking in public. It usually just gets taken away and disposed of, unless they repeatedly offend, but often no names are taken anyway.

I think it's healthy to try new things in your teenage years, but abuse of substance is a different thing. If it gets in the way of their ambitions or work life, then it is starting to go wrong. Friday nights are OK. Sunday nights where you have to get up for school early the next morning and you're hungover like a ***** are not OK. Get some sense.

First of all, he's lying through his teeth.

Second, alcohol abuse normally starts in college when stupid frat boys drink about three gallons of vodka, then learn nothing from the experience, except that it's "Radder than my Jeep!". Not when a fifteen year old has 3/4 of a can of beer and gets hammered. Assuming he was completely wasted and woke up with a raging hangover the next day, something tells me he'll learn something about moderation and not pushing your limits- I know I did, at least.

If you're worrying about it, at least your a good friend.
 
Oh no that sucks. He'll get charged and it'll end there. Cops have more tolerance for underage drinking because there are so many worse things an underage kid can do, especially these days.

As someone who drinks, you're really making too much of a big deal about this.
 
I don't think it's a bad thing to drink, I think it's a bad thing to be a drunk, you know?

One of the reasons they put underage drinking laws into place is to keep kids from becoming dependent on alcohol. It's a lot easier to want it if you're used to it.

In short, it all comes down to self-control and common sense. If you can't deal with the consequences, don't do it.

I hope your friend is alright, along with his family (the parents always take it hardest, you know), and his other friends. Keep going.

Dont be. The most a minor will ever receive is a week in the Detention center for underage drinking. Its not a serious crime.

And I find it hilarious that people are making such a big deal about this. Considering the legal drinking age is much younger in other areas of the world.

As for the gang situation, if you were really his friend, you would try and help him get out of that kind of life before he ends up dead, or worse, in prison.

And its possible for him to be an MMA fighter, but not a real one who competes in legitimate competitions, because you have to be 18 to compete in the small time leagues.
