Surf behind the gym, and there is a cave. Go inside. Use surf and whirlpool to navigate the cave. Enter the house you see. Answer the elders questions. Clair will come. He will gripe at her, and she will give you the badge.

The Game Corners are same all the way through.

You can trade with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver as soon as you get the Pokedex from Prof. Oak.

Use whatever you rather train the most. Each one would work well in an in-game team, so it doesn't really matter. Everyone will have their own opinion on the matter and will basically end up leaving you with the same question at hand. So, my suggestion is to choose whatever you like best and have fun with it, because in that end that's what matters the most.

I managed to paralyze a transformed Ditto, and Limber disallows paralyzation. That's why I ask o0

Transform copies everything but HP and Lv. So yes, it copies abilities too.
