    totally not because I need some advice

    What gets you motivated to talk? What gets you posting here?
     
    Hmmm... Well, if there's something on the hacking fora, I'd definitely comment.

    I usually keep pretty silent, though.

    After all, from March 2011 until this April, I've been lurking the whole time.

    Just lurking...

    I don't personally care about my postcount, although it helps for the sake of actually being listened to, instead of being ignored as I see some new members are.

    That's also likely how some people end up signing up and never end up passing 10 posts.

    Posting is also a good way to keep in touch with others. I don't like to make useless posts, though. It makes anyone who does so look like a postcount monger. Which is probably less than favorable.
     
    Something interesting usually gets me to post. Usually world politics in the other forums will get me to post my opinion, but other than that it's kind of hard for me to contribute.

    I like to randomly post every so often though, such as in this instance.
     
    I like the DCC a lot cuz it's fun! And you're there too so you know what I'm talking about. D&D too. I communicate here because, well, I don't have many friends in real life. Or at least I don't keep in touch with people. And I don't know many people who share my interests, either. Also because my social life was brutally docked over the course of high school and that crucial freshman year. It's nice to make a new start here though, and here I am.
     
    It's only fun to post in there when I feel we have some kind of common ground and community feeling. Like when we were trying to get the collab up. That was fun because it was a reason to come into the VIP forum for something that not everyone could see and for something that we couldn't find somewhere else on PC.
     
    Well, when I have some confidence in myself (and not as paranoid due to my anxiety disorder (not too severe now!)), I'll post like a storm and leave out a couple of VMs or so to friends whom I want to talk to. It does take a lot of time for me to come out of my shell and takes 0.1 seconds for me to get back in. So it's a complicated phase lmao xD
     
    The distant thought that if I carry on and 'be myself' some good will eventually come of it.
