I prefer Marxism over Capitalism as its a system based on morals as opposed to gain and profitability. It being concerned with the equal distribution of wealth and the ends of the working class are also attractive to me.

It's sad that countries like the USSR and the PRC implement it so warped to where the destruction of the haves and national interests are prioritized over what's important. PRK is a fascist dictatorship, so they don't really count.

I'm part of that group.

What about the D?! That looks more like the B.

Right, equality. Largely, any implementation of Marxism so far has led to equality in that everyone's equally poor.

That doesn't mean that the ideas themselves are flawed. It's important not to focus so much on the destruction of the ruling class, and it's also important to take care of every citizen to where they have food, water, shelter, clothes, and also luxuries as well globally at their benefit (ergo internet or cable, for all). Ironically Marxism has, like capitalism, been mispracticed enough to denounce its name.

I'd go so far as to say both capitalism and Marxism work well at their core; however humans are too easily corrupted when put into positions of power to withhold those ideas as opposed to implementing their own cooked-up rendition of it that benefits themselves over everyone else. Major countries who have implemented capitalism just do it to where we have personal ammenities and luxuries and aren't starving on the streets (at a different price entirely).

I'd like to point out that government protecting big business interests at the expense of the citizenry and small businesses isn't real capitalism.

That's crony capitalism and it's the worst form of capitalism there is.

I think that capitalism is attractive because it provides direct instant access to luxury, pleasure, and entertainment through it's liberal handling of money (and who doesn't like that?). To be honest it makes sense… we haven't had this sort of fun as a species since before the western dark age and the eastern feudal ages, which is a while.

I will say its more easily corruptible than other socialist or communist schools of thought, again with how liberal it handles money (money being power, of course). I think it'd be ideal where a general or a politician would have the same house, food, internet and such as some working-class person in the intercity. Why should their status merit a more luxurious lifestyle in a communist country anyway?

Also, this came to mind:
