I thought the plan was to nix the seasonal DCC in favor of shorter ones... that's why I'd killed the second to last one so early. O.o

That's what Andy suggested, I thought it might be better to base it off of posts and not time since that's the limiting factor. I don't think he's decided which is better yet, but either will work I think. Although I read somewhere that the double posting gets bad at about 1k posts and we're already 1/4 to that in just a few days...

It seems that when threads get around 1500-2000 posts the DP glitch starts. I think I remember Audy (or someone else) saying somewhere that the reason for the double posting glitch since the server move has to do with some glitch in the PHP build.

Yeah, I figured, I hate working around with things like this because it's just a lot more debugging and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it at all.

You probably misinterpreted what I meant, sorry about that xD

What I meant was that I hate working with websites because in my opinion there's just more debugging to do. I didn't actually mean that that was the problem.

I'm just glad though that we have a new server at least. I remember on the old server that PC was going down at least once a day and sometimes as long as an hour or two depending on how many people were trying to connect to the site during a downtime.
