I take Tylenol for painkillers, but usually what I end up taking along with them is a bunch of allergy pills. They get especially bad in the fall and winter seasons, so I always have a generous supply of Claritin in my pantry, haha. Allergies are terrible, you aren't actually sick but still feel like you need to take days off to recover. :[

Excedrin is the best ever. Kills pain so well and hangovers

I usually don't take painkillers; whenever I find myself with some headache, I simply try to nap it off. Most of the time, it works!

Like virtually everyone else in bum♥♥♥♥ West Virginia, my grandmother is addicted to prescription painkillers. It's pretty standard alongside an incredibly thick and unique West Virginian accent, noticeable ignorance about the world, and a kinship of being flat broke 100% of the time.

…I love hearing stories from my parents about life in West Virginia… it's like a whole other world. Did you know that there's a fabled family around WV known as the Whites of Boone County, and are the only thing of interest there besides the Lazy River? They were huge drug lords and bought off the law enforcement because nobody cared, and even had their own TV show for the absolute hell of it.

I take Lexapro, Klonopin, and Latuda every day.

Helps me cope with my problems.

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia is the documentary done on them. It was previously on Netflix streaming. I loved it. It was crazy to think there was this straight-up crazy hillbilly family out there causing trouble and going wild. They do all sorts of drugs and live off government welfare. If you love hearing those stories, this documentary is literally amazing. I've seen it...five times now, with several family members and friends. Unbelievable what that family gets up to.

The Whites were something spoken all hush among West Virginians from what I could tell, as they we're incredibly infamous for their doings around Boone County. I had read nothing and heard nothing besides an account from two people born and raised in Princeton, which I imagine is different than official documentation and such. Wacky they were, as I heard from my parents. :P

The last true outlaws I'd ever known, and they really were. Treatment and all.

Haha, well if you get the opportunity to watch that documentary, you'd get a kick out of it. :P

I think the locals do tend to be hush-hush about their opinions on the Whites. They aren't known for their rationality or calm demeanor. :D

West Virginia natives are the kind of broke to where my uncle was asking his friend's parents in high school why they were referred to as "aristocrats" since they lived in a gated housing community. That may give you a judgment of the demeanor the Whites held in conversation, given most had never me them and had heard through mere word of mouth alone. :P

Painkillers...

I used to take direct meds against the PSch which worked temporarily, yet they came with pretty annoying side effects on me (getting really tired, thus sometimes just spontaneously falling asleep, or other things), as well they also got quite expensive over time so I had to stop taking them. :c
Right now all I can do is to take anti-headache things whenever I'm hallucinating to -at least- get rid of the headaches...

I imagine some medications cost more than others because of their chemical complexity - my atomoxetine has an >$60 co-pay for a 60mg/day 30-day supply whereas my lithium carbonate is less than $1 for a 1200mg/day 30-day supply, even though my lithium does way more for me than the atomoxetine does.

Also speaking of that I just remembered I'm going off of my meds completely as of a few days ago, so hopefully that'll be fun. I don't like being woken up at 4 in the morning for a mood stabilizer and anti-Autsim pills every day, it cuts into me waking up early enough to spend time with the above before she goes to sleep. :p

Uh Alex, unless a doctor has specifically said it's okay to go off your medications, it's really not a good idea. I'm sure you and Khilia will have a much happier relationship spending shorter amounts of medicated time together rather than longer sessions without a stable mood.

Relevant! I'm so excited to have health/dental/vision insurance again! It's been years and now I can get a checkup and a teeth cleaning and new glasses :) It's amazing how much of a load that takes off your back that you didn't even know was there.

I'm 19 years old and I barely know anything about insurance stuff in relation to medical care, all I know is I have a medical card... lmao

RIP to my life

Hehe, I've been off my lithium carbonate for a 9-month period without problem and was put back on it because my dad wants to pin the psychological issues caused by him and his girlfriend onto a diagnosis I got when I was 8. I've been off the other two for weeks at a time as well with little problem.

Andy I'm not going to burn down PC or anything I promise
