    Haha, I like slightly misleading thread titles. Bite me. :|

    Anyway, the poll. Are you afraid of needles?

    I'm...not. XD; I don't have them often, but I've been getting them monthly for the last half a year and today was my last one. :B So I'm pretty used to them. Plus I've never really had a fear of them to begin with. *shrug* So how about you guys?

    I used to be terrified. Then I moved onto hating them, but not afraid. Now I just don't give a crap. They hurt for just a second... but if you don't move the syrumthat was injected around, then your shoulder can start to hurt after a while.

    I just got a needle on Monday and my shoulder is still hurting. But my mom thinks it is because they hit my muscle by accident, so it became bruised. x_x

    I swear, my shoulder hurts like a... well yah <_<;

    Btw, nice title ;D *bites*

    AaaaahHhhh NEEDLES!!!

    No, I'm not scared or terrified of them anymore... it's just a small prick feeling now. I used to be more scared of them when I was much, much younger.

    I still have a slight sense of trepidation every time I encounter a hypodermic syringe, but for the most part needles don't scare me as much as they used to.

    The needles hurt a LOT in some places, no matter what the doctors say, but I'm not really "scared" of them.

    *Hates Needles.*

    Though I'm not really "scared." of them, I just hate people poking things into my skin, and it sometimes hurts too. I used to be deathly scared by them but not anymore, really, but I still hate them, alot.

    LOL. Cried at the sight of them when I was younger, but I got one lately and it felt like nothing. Not really afraid anymore.

    Ever since my doctor messed up drawing my blood (I passed out) I've been terrified of doctor's needles. No other needles though.

    Needles = Bad, scary, horrible, frightening, monsterous, disgusting, gross, sharp, painful, etc.

    Mizzy hates needles. Why? Because they hurt.

    Mizzy doesn't like things that hurt.

    And I especially hate how they're like, "it's not going to hurt" for half an hour and you're like, "JUST DO IT ALREADY JESUS CHRIST."

    < < I hate needles. I'm deathly afraid of them. And quite frankly, I'm not ashamed to scream in the doctor's office to prove it.

    I was scared of needles up until sometime this year when I got injections with my friends, they all complained, I was fine and then I was ready for the second one, I actually even got excited. We're getting the third dosage sometime next month, so it could be something to look forward to. XD Normal pain for no reason I don't like though.

    I hate needles!
    Spoiler:

    Yeah. I cant stand needles. THEY HURT! They say it doesnt but it does!
    I dont mind normal pain. I hate needles though. They hurt and it's sore where they stick the needle in you for days!
    I just try to grit my teeth and bear the pain but it's annoying!

    Not scared at all. I've never had a bad experience with them. And they never hurt a lot for me.

    I'm quite lucky in that I never had a BCG injection (for tuberculosis), which a few years ago was mandatory for everyone, and it was supposed to be a veeeeerrry nasty long painful injection. But I was excluded on the day everyone took the heath test to see how much they needed on it, and hence never took the injection on the day, assuming I would have had to take it next year.

    But! Next year it wasn't on and the year after that I found out it was no longer on, the BCG wasn't done in schools any more. Don't ask me why, but as long as I don't come into contact with tuberculosis I'll be fine.

    When i was in lower school I never liked them. But I wasn't one of the many children that cried when they had injections. Now it doesn't bother me at all. I have had loads. I had to have 8 in a row once to make my hand go numb when i had a hook go through my hand.

    Nope, I am never afraid of Needles, I'm trying to be careful to then in Cass so I think I have no problem with them

    I've had my BCG taken earlier this year. :/ It was done in my school because there was someone amongst the people I was hanging out with that was recently diagnosed with tuberculosis. Lucky to say that I never had it, but I'm still not aware of who exactly this person was. Maybe I'm better off not knowing, I don't know. o_x

    Anyway, I'm not afraid of needles at all, never had a problem with taking them. I do look at my arm when I do have it injected but I don't have any struggling nerves. I'm aware that jabs I take are for the sake of my health anyway, so what reason do I have to be scared? :x

    ^Seriously XD

    Yes, I'm terrified. I had to get my HPV shot the other day, and the nurse kept telling me not to look, but that made it worse, I jumped when she stuck the needle in, making my skin kind of rip ;o;

    I have to get it again in 2 months because it's one of those "Gotta get it 50 times before it actually takes effect" shots.

    I don't really fear needles, but it still makes me jump. Is it just me, or is the time between when you see the needle, and when it actually pricks your skin the worst?
