I'm a Technical Support Specialist (aka I do IT work at both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, though internally officially anything I fix is Tier 1 unless it's a project).

I just picked it because I didn't really have anything in mind and it's what my dad did/does.

It's quite rewarding, at least compared to any other work I've done. Way more mentally engaging and pays better, too.
 
Ideally I'm going to work in Event Management / Convention Sales. Hospitality was a sector that was sort of thrust onto me, but I've really taken a liking to it. I worked a lot in hotel operations in the past, but got really burned out with it so I'm going back to school for business so I can apply that to the experience that I already have.
 
Game dev for 5 years, been working on the level design team of a certain AAA studio for the past 3. It's pretty fun except the part where I work 80+ hrs a week and having to deal with entitled angry gamers who think they know more about game development than me because they play games in their free time.

My job has consumed what was left of my social life, but shipping a game and seeing your name in the credits is god damn rewarding, so I guess it's a good tradeoff lol.
 
Bachelor's in Human Services; specialization in family and children's services. I'm a program director that does hands-on science with young children. We made our own vending machines the other week.

Initially didn't expect much of myself and my job considering I've never been a study-material person.

I just happened to have the luck and chance to be under the wing of a professional pets groomer and I had been an groomer's assistant for the past 2 years (Going on 3 next January) in various grooming shops across here.

I am currently understudying to be a full fledge groomer myself.

The grooming industry isn't as nice as how people thought it'd be-- A lot quit within a few days thinking it would be a very lenient and easy job to stay in. Sadly that will never be the truth; You get bitten and scratched, you deal with shits (Yes literally poops hun), usually overworking yourself close to public holidays (Especially Chinese New Year). People think we play with pets in our job, but it's mostly dealing with aggression and all.

Unless you have that high passion for pets, you'll get out of it within a few days. Just by simply loving animals will never suffice.
