LOL @ Sceptre and Zan are battling because they were the respective odd-ones out for their teams. Whoever wins will go back to their regular team in Round Two.

The timezone thing is only to make it easier to schedule a battle with each other in the beginning. In the end, if you made it far enough, you would have had to battle other people in the other timezones anyways.
