PC's worst areas?

    So yeah I wanna know. What do you guys think are the worst areas in PC when it comes to spam and such?
     
    Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum (DS) and Advance Generation Games (GBA).

    DS because everybody posts everything related to Pokemon there first before reading the other sections along with bringing up the same topics over and over again.
    GBA since nobody really posts there anymore so the moderation is meh.
    GBC is a little better than GBA since nobody really posts there so...
    I'm sure that HGSS is a spamfest too but I don't want to find out.
     
    Any Fourth Generation forums are spam-filled. Other Trivia gets a decent amount more than normal forums but not enough to call it a 'worst area'.
     
    Not so much an area, but browse through the FFL for a while. Some parts are on topic, but others are just wut. Then there're some of the threads that turn up in the Writer's Lounge! Half of them are all like 'ooh look at my fanfic idea i want u 2 giv me a rateing out of 10 so i no if its gud or not. ok heres the idea bobby is a kid from pallet town who wants 2 b a pokeomn trainer. he gets a drateenee from prof oak and goes to the pokemon league. he meets teem rocet and saves the world. so whaddya think gaiz is it gud and will it maek a gud fanfic?'

    Sorry, I got a little carried away there.
     
    Personally i hate the way the poetry section is so empty. There are some ver talented people posting there and their poems aren't being evaluated or aren't getting much feedback. All some people need is a few mistakes pointed out to improve or a few pros pointed out so they know where they are doing well! Then there are a few poems that are short and sweet so they tend to get more comments because the readers like something quick to read and the comment, say they liked it or not and be on their way.
    I don't see why people cant help them out.If someone took less than half the amount of time that it took to write the poem to evaluate it, they would make the poet happy, they would feel better and it would certainly benifet a lot more than it is doing hurt. Personally i do my evauluations where i can but i think people would be sick of me if i turned up all over the section :P

    HG/SS & Other chat are often spammed also. people don't back up their points or they end up making a thread which could just as easily have been googled or asked in Q&A threads. Post count seems all to important so some members in my opinion.
     
    HGSS Definatly. I wnet surching through their pages, and it was choc-a-block FILLED with moved and closed threads!

    Well, obviously the DPPt/HGSS/Wifi forums.

    Pixel Art fluctuates between decent posts and total spam. It seemed to be in a spam phase the other day, but I think it's coming back around to half-decent this week.. I dunno.

    There is no answer to that question, NG. That's the whole point. We're nuts and there's no reason for it.
     
    For spammy threads, I think the 4th-gen sections and the Community Questions & Feedback sections win it. Too many people not reading rules or not looking for info on their own before asking (by making a thread) about it.

    For spammy posts, the Art Gallery takes it. That place could use a mod or two. Seriously, I think ShinjisLover is about the only person posting useful critique at all in the main section. Other than that, we get useless posts like this:

    The Pixel Art section is better 'cause there're more people that care enough to post decently and take care of the section in general, so I find myself in there more than the main section. As for the G&P section, I really don't care. :/

    dA is an art site and most of PC's artistic members have an account there or elsewhere, PC is just a secondary outlet.
     
    DPP, HGSS and the Wi-Fi forums take the cake! OT is a close second, too.
     
    Based on reports, Pixel Art, by far.

    Outside of the obvious, I think Emulation is one of the worst forums on PC, but hey. jk I luv yu hackers <3

    I think based on the amount of spam etc. And what I have seen there it's the Pixel Art forums. Also, D/P/Pt is a huge spamfest too.
     
    Worst idea here is the rep system, since it is anonymous random idiots abuse it a lot to give bad reps to people without grounds to do so.

    EDIT: Lol I misread the topic title, I thought it said worst ideas.
