No, it can't. IPS cannot read GBA ROMs bigger than 16MB correctly, and Red Chapter as a ROM was expanded to 32MB.
That's why the UPS format is used instead.

The issue you mention after your question could have easily been solved by spending less than a minute on Google or Youtube, but I already had this written for someone else, so I'll leave it here:
1) Open NUPS Patcher
2) Click on "Apply an UPS Patch to a file"
3) Choose your ROM where it says "File to Patch"
4) Choose the hack's .ups patch where it says "UPS Patch"
5) Choose "Ignore" where it says "If file is invalid".
6) Click on "Patch".
7) Done.

Alternatively, you can use ROM Patcher JS which is even more straightforward.
Choose a Clean Pokémon Fire Red v1.0 ROM, the patch, wait 30 seconds or so and click Apply Patch.

for us cheaters, now i don't need the cheat for evol coral since i got it from underwater

Bah i can't patch Pokemon Glazed in Pokemon Emeral (sp), the hacked rom gets a white screen

I'm not sure if this is a glitch since It is my first time through the game but I'm assuming it is.
After beating Moltres and obtaining the Volcano Badge I get two cutscenes, one with de Legendary trio and the team rocket, then a cutscene of Blue talking to an officer trying to enter Saffron City, after that I spawn in route 7 as Blue.
I can enter in Saffron City and there's the team rocket invasion thing going, I can too take to other direction and go to route 7 and pass throught the two girls complaining who were blocking the path, once I pass them they don't let me go inside again.
The game seems normal after that, I can use the fashion box to be Red again but the teleport guy and the Abra dissapeared.
I didn't try to continue the story or trigger another chapter since I cannot teleport and I don't know where to continue.I started the game with beta 14.1, when the glitch happened I update to 14.4 and use the glitch cleaner in Pallet town and the same thing keeps happening.

Any thoughts?

Hello, I have the newest update for the game, but I'm wondering for the near future on how to merge save files when the new beta 14 comes out? I'm using iPhone btw.

Yes the latest beta 14.4 at sunburst island cave the female trainer with blonde hair caused my game to get a black screen.I tried three to four times but it kept happening so I just skipped the trainer.

I did try to check it out, but her trainerbattle worked just fine on my end.
What platform are you playing Red Chapter on and what emulator did you use?

Enable Dropbox sync for GBA4IOS then go to Dropbox and find the rom folder.It will be under the name of fire red.There will be two folders save states and saves.Go in any of the two and choose whichever save you want to copy(the top left one will be the most recent).Then click on the three dots and make a copy of the file.Move the save/save state file to the respective folder of the new rom.Change the name of the save file and get playing from where you left off.

I'm playing with version 14.2 and I can not get the HM06 / Rock Smash. Yellow never gets lost in the forest. What can I be missing?
I beat Brok, Misty and Erika. I have HM01, HM03 and HM04.
I'm in the house on my way to Ciudad Floral, where they invite me to eat and sleep, but I can not move forward. What am I missing?

If you have the HM04, then you're supposed to go back to Fuchsia City and from there, to Route 19.
You still have some ways to go before having to save Yellow in Viridian Forest.

Also, Floral City is a small city that plays a role in 2 side chapters. It's not relevant to the plot.

Hey, I really love your game and I'm currently having a blast playing bit. I have one something to ask you though. Seeing as you have made several different changes to existing pokemon, created completely new mega evolutions and new pokemon, I was wondering if there is a changelog or document where you have compiled all the information regarding the game. Important stuff like BST, abilities and even movepools. I love Pokemon like kangaskhoon but I have no idea about their base stats. Also, on a lighter note, does normal blaziken get speed boost? And is Ability Capsule available?

1) Direct questions to Aethestode go in the Discord server. As it was stated a couple of times before, he doesn't come here too often.
2) There isn't an official document written by Aethestode about his modifications. There's only the guides written by people who played the game.
3) Torchic and its evolutions are not obtainable yet, so it's hard to answer that.
4) No, the Ability Capsule is not a thing here in Red Chapter.
