Pokémon Anime Caption Contest

Hello and welcome to PC's GT2013 Caption Contest! Your hosts and judges for this event will be ZachLMedia, NecrumWarrior, and EternallyAnna. The game is simple- we will provide you with a selection of screenshots from the anime and you will caption them to the best of your ability. Providing caption humor and having fun with subtitles is the intent, but you can try for anything that might fit the categories we're looking for.

How To Play

A number of screenshots are in a spoiler below. You may select up to three screenshots to caption, but you must submit no more than one caption per screenshot. All captions must be submitted by 12pm CDT (GMT-5) on Monday July 8th. Please include the image as well as your caption in your submission post. Captions under 4words/25 characters will be disqualified. Your captions will be judged according to the seven categories listed below. Therefore potentially seven people will receive the Caption Master emblem. Everyone who did not submit a winning caption will receive a participation emblem.

- Clever or groan-inducing. Your choice, our call.

- Only the finest sarcasm, please.

- Potentially very hard to do.

The Far Side
- Succinct. Deadpan. Clever. Non Sequitur.

Actually Pretty Funny
- It shouldn't be funny, but somehow it is. It's tough to get us to admit it though.

Judges' Favourite
- It may not fit a category, but it stands out so much we can't not give it props.
