It is your average every day. You, a soon-to-become trainer, wakes to a bright, beautiful day. The sun is shining, a breeze is blowing, and you recieve your first Pokémon. You choose your Pokémon and stroll out of Professor Teak's lab, setting foot for the journey that lies ahead of you. You leave BloomingBud Town in head of Laurelburg, and you run into two members of Team Hatred. The members were chattering away about their plans to destroy all of humanity, to create a paradise for Pokémon, and you happen to hear every word. They see you, and sprint away. They said something about Celebi, so you head off, to see what they were talking about.

Thanks for the comments. The starters will be the Johto starters, and there will be a new hero/heroine (I am just spriting them). Anyway, I will post some more screenshots later today.

I haven't seen a hack from you in... er... ever!
Anyways, will you be keeping the Hero and Heroine the same as Fire Red, or are you going to change it? I know you are, but I am asking who?

By the way, I'd really like to help out with this game (scripting, mapping, spriting).
Just, tell me if you want my help, and then give me whatever work you want me to do, I have 8 hours of spare time on my hands. And if you need me for any of those other small things like inserting sprites or creating random text for you, I'm your man.

Well, I do need some help with scripting. I am really bad at it.

About the heroine/hero, they are being replaced by me. I just need to finish spriting them. The female OW walking is done now.

Well, so far it's looking fine... ehhhm... ehhhmm... Don Patch (yeah, I don't want to be copying/pasting your new name everytime XD)

I like the tiles, though I'm not that surprised because I know you are good at making them ;)

By the way, if I'm allowed to make a suggestion. Don't you think it would be better to put the Hoenn Starters on a FR hack? ('cause most FR hacks have either the Kanto or Johto starters, so maybe being a little more original could help, unless you already have your own plans)

I agree with Zel. But another idea is making other Pokémon the starter (something to do with 'Harmony'?)
Maybe the starter being Sinnoh Pokémon, Roselia (or Budew, if you plan on adding Sinnoh Pokés in the hack), Oddish, Cacnea, Lileep, Swablu (it's pretty harmonious), and other cute or grassy Pokémon.
Good luck with the hack, and I'm awaiting the scripting job.

The Johto starters have there part in the story line, you'll see :).

Anyway, I will have to post the screenshots later tonight. I hvae to haul wood outside.

And it's fine if you call me Don Patch. That's what my new name spells anyway.

Great hack, I'm practically in love with the tiles, but the Hero/Heroine sprites are hard to sink your teeth into (Yes, ze 'Ero and 'Eroine sprites).

If I could pick between each tile I see in those screenshots, I'd pick the trees. They are very rustic and... er... happy!
But, otherwise, I really like the storyline and all the rest of the graphics.

I also like the idea of a 'Shiny Celebi', it really adds some originality into the game, just like a Red Gyarados from Shiny Gold, Crystal Onix from Naranja, etc.
I'd like to help out, but I'm busy with my own hack, so....

Keep it up, Don Patch (or, should I say, Дон Пач)! ^^
