Hi there guys! I dont think I have come by and posted a lot on your thread, but, I've been checking the latest updates. Congrats on getting that award, it must mean that you are doing a good job. As a fellow remaker (ehhhmmm, I think I'm still one XP) I hope that you can manage to finish this project ;)

y'know I still play shiny gold.
and despite what some people say, it does inspire a lot of people.

Anyways college starts tomorrow guys so I won't be working on anything I think.
LaZ will cover things till then. I still need to do all the abttle BG imports and stuff.
Then I'll re-do the trainer sprites.
On an offtopic kinda thing...if anyone has a PS3, PM me their PSNs?

Hey guys! Yeah, I know I'm a new member, but I've been playing Pokemon for a really long time. My friend introduced me to two ROM hacks and they're pretty cool. I'm liking this one a lot, as well as Shiny Gold.

I have a quick question: I chose Cyndaquil as my starter and I read about the bug and things like that. I'm up to that part in the game and I'd like to know when would you be able to fix it. Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work!
 
Why do people repeat the same bugs, Just read back the egg resetting thing has been answered...
 
actually i cant get through to violet city. i gave the mystery egg to prof, and the 2 fighting boy on route 30 dont disappear. why??? heeelp pls :)
 
i had a question,im restarting this game and i was wondering whether to play with the first beta or 1.1,is there that much of a difference?
 
i know this is anoyying but i like to point out a few things

1. when i faced axel in olivine outside the lighthouse he had a lvl 77 pupitar and a lvl 42 horsea (i had to use a lvl 100 sandslash that i caught above olivine)
2. in cinawood city in the near the dive spot there are some rocks that when u go near them you walk on them and i can get all the way onto the cliff and the the game freezes
3. near olivine the route off to the left there is a sign that when i use it freeze
4.in goldenrod the when i talk to the guy that looks like the main character i get pushed up and then i become invisible
5. for some reason headbutt dosen't seem to work
6. i cant fly to violet city and cherry grove
7. in some areas (like ecrueteack city the route below it and the ruins of alph) when i use fly i cant fly anywhere.
8. zane's battle pic is messed up ( kinda looks like missingno. )

maily i think this happened was because i patched beta 1.1 over 1.0

once again im sorry for putting this up. u probably got lots of posts like this one:(

talk to your mom, elm says that...
then go to route 30....and it'll be clear..reading gets you far in pokemon games y'know...

use a beta 1 patch and play till after you recieve the engg, then patch that rom with beta 1.1

1. about axel I never got that personally, I'll talk to LaZ about it.
2. Never had that either. again I'll talk to LaZ
3. that was fixed in beta 1.1 i think.

I've had 1 and put it in the walkthrough to. But LaZ said that on MSN he didn't have it when he played the game.
I've also had 2.
Had 6
Had 7.

Pretty much that. Not sure about the others though.

Also, did I mention the restarts lates in this video yet?

They're obviously bugs but not sure if anyone else had them yet..
 
ah what hell, i'll play, when its done. none of the other Pokemon games in the Showcase, thread don't seem to be done yet

Okay, I'm stumped at the whole Tin Tower thing.

So I entered Tin Tower after defeating Zane before Ice Path. Went to Tin Tower after Elm called, then they said I needed the clear bell. I kind of thought the Soothe Bell was a quick replacement for the Clear Bell, but I guess it wasn't. So instead I went to Ruins of Alph like they told me, but the only thing I found new was the Lax Incense.

I went back to Tin Tower after a while and talked to the man. He let me in, but now when I try to enter that door the Trio are gaurding, he doesn't let me in. He says now that the Legendary Dogs are awakened it's too dangerous.

I also checked the Ruins of Alph part where Charizard is supposed to be.. nothin.
Umm yah..

If I think that this follows the original game, did you do the Radio Tower event with Team Rocket?

It does that. I recommend (and this does work) downloading the old beta, patching that to a clean ROM and use that with your save to get the Egg, and then go back to the newer version.

Also, i recommend doing that before the Rival battle in Azalea, as that freezes when he sends out Bayleef (if you picked Totodile) for me.
