Professor Elm is a scientist who has dedicated his life to study Pokémon.
He's still young but he enjoys a great respect among the other reseachers thanks to his astonishing discoveries, like those related to the evolution of the Pokémon.
One day, while he's working, Prof. Elm gets an e-mail from an acquaintance whose name is Mr. Pokémon:
"I made a sensational discovery! You have to see it!"
Unfortunately Prof. Elm is too busy to leave his laboratory, so he decides to ask someone for help... and that person is you!
"Please, - asks you Prof. Elm - visit Mr. Pokémon and take a look at his discovery!"
A generous and curious person like you can't sure say no!
Then Prof. Elm shows you three Pokémon telling you:
"Choose the one you'd like to take with you."
It's an important moment: you're going to receive your very first Pokémon!
Afterwards you realize a boy outside is spying you from the window. He looks like he's as old as you, so you leave the laboratory to meet him.
But once there he pushes you away shouting:
"Hey, what are you looking at?"
Who is that strange boy? And what is Mr. Pokemon's discovery?
You will discover it soon...

[A ID]features[/A ID]

Pokémon Oro Sole will feature original Johto gameplay, with improved graphics of the FireRed codebase.
The goal is to be as accurate G/S series remake as virtually possible.
Of course, the remake needs some game improvements and those will be done as well.
The development plans might change along the way, so please stay tuned and check both News and Future Plans sections regularly.

What's a bug?
A bug is an error that prevents the hack from behaving as intended.
A hack that contains a large number of bugs, and/or bugs that seriously interfere with its functionality, is said to be buggy.
What's a glitch?
A glitch is a bug too but it's most likely related to graphics ones. (e.g., a tile which acts weirdly).
In this case the proper adjective is glitchy, obviously.
What's an oddity?
An oddity always refer to a strange and unconventional behavior but that cannot really interpreted as a bug or as a glitch.
Sometimes it refers to incompleted parts.

Known Bugs
None so far.
Glitch List
Nothing, for now.
Oddities
● Some sprites aren't replaced yet since there aren't ready: big intro ones, backpics and trainer card ones.
● When the Mom's overworld is moving it looks like it's levitating instead.
● The Mom's script it's not completed due to the length of the beta.
● There's still the Potion on the PC in the beginning.
● The PokéGear still have the VSSeeker picture. It wasn't changed since the PokéGear hasn't a real purpose yet.
● The World Map still displays Kanto.
● The house in the middle of Percorso 29 (Route 29) won't warp you anywhere just because there's nothing over the door
● On Percorso 30 (Route 30), in the near of Mr. Pokémon's house, you could eventually see a weird top of a tree.
This happens because the map it's itself-connected (for now) and that floating tree-top is a side effect.

How to correctly report a bug/glitch/oddity
When reporting something, make sure to answer these questions:
- Is the bug/glitch/oddity reported yet?
● Yes. It's already reported. No need to do anything.
● No. It's not reported yet and therefore a report is greatly encouraged.
- Is the bug/glitch/oddity fixed yet?
● Yes. It's already fixed so it's crealy unnecessary to report something that doesn't exist anymore.
● No. In this case answer the rest of the questions and do what you have to do accordingly.
- Is the bug/glitch/oddity related to cheating?
● Yes. Some cheats are involved. Well, any bug/glitch/oddity due to cheats won't be taken into consideration. Don't even try to report it.
● No. OK, go ahead with the other two questions.

Before doing anything, it's better to check the general FAQ (in particular its Emulation section) and Hiroshi Sotomura's thread.
They will sure help working with IPS patches as well as solving most common problems.
Oh, and since I understand not everyone could have the Italian ROM I've also included an English to Italian Patch.
That said, have fun with Oro Sole!
