The Move Relearner in Ecrueteak City don't have the same moves as in v1.1. Past versión I could techo Weather Ball to Pelipper, Earth Power to Typhlosion and the elemental fango to Luxray. In v1.2 I can't. Is this intentional? I thought that getting to Pokemon League would somehow unlock new moves...but it didn't.

The Pokemon League will not unlock new moves, and the move relearner moves were not changed between 1.1 and 1.2. They will be changed for 1.3 though.

Well if there's no way for my Milotic to learn Dragon Pulse without breeding, is there at least a Tower Tycoon at the Battle Tower?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the game! Just finished the first interaction with Jirachi. So I had asked about the Tower Tycoon to see if there's anymore "boss" battles other than postgame story and postgame Elite 4 rematch? As I didn't really intend to legendary hunt except for the ones important to the story, so again was looking for a reason to do the Battle Tower, such as it is with the mainline games of battling 7 trainers 3 times in order to battle a gym leader like character.

There is a new Tower Tycoon. Same requirement as Emerald, you need 35 consecutive wins.

Oh no, the problem wasn't really the pronoun, it was more the nature of the dialogue as a whole, like the opening scene of Shane guiding you to New Bark.

Like, as a boy, I even understood that he was telling me that girls don't like that kind of guy and that I shouldn't become him if I want attention from girls. But as a girl, I didn't understand why he told me that.

PS: About sprites, not all have been updated, Youngster, Lass, Bug Catcher, fisherman still have classic Emerald sprites, but then there is a Hex Maniac with a higher quality sprite.

Is the Berry Blender accessible prior to the Olivine gym? If so, where? I'm trying to get a good Sandile for the gym but it seems that every mon in the sandstorm zone of the Safari is Modest no matter what.

The Berry Blenders are in Mahogany Town, which is accessible with Surf. You can surf after the Olivine Gym, sorry.

For the Starter Megas, I think you should go with Custom Sloo Mega Sprites aside from the Meganium one, which kind of looks depressing. Mega Meganium should definetly also be Fairy typed to give it some niche and have all the starters gain an extra dual type.

So overall, Typhlosion and Feraligatr from the new sprites and Meganium from the deviant art one.

That's what I plan on going with.

I downloaded the game in its entirety on the 17th of this month, so i think it is the right patch, how can i check the version? on the title it says V1.2 but unsure if thats the right one.

You should be good then. I got mine to evolve by battling a wild Tentacruel around the Whirl Islands.

There is a new Battle Tower Tycoon. I think I called it the Battle Tower Champion though. Same requirement as Emerald, you need 35 consecutive wins.

Since this is a decomp, the game data gets shifted whenever it's compiled. Pokémon Emerald cheats will not work, and cheats tailored to Scorched Silver will probably be version specific (v1.0, v1.1, etc.)

Hey, it's been a while. I'm sure nobody expected to see me again.
In my typical fashion, I've kept the development of this game well hidden. Nevertheless, this is a complete game with 8 badges, and plenty of post game content. This is not a remake of Gold and Silver, but a sequel with an entirely new story.
Fair warning – The gym leaders use items and some setup moves making this game moderately difficult, but not impossible. If you defeat all available trainers before each gym, and use a little strategy, you should be fine.

Synopsis
Travel back to the majestic lands of Johto through the perspective of a young boy or girl from Cherrygrove City on their way to becoming a great Pokémon Master!

Bugs
- Game freezes after falling down with Oliver in the Ruins of Alph: Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Voltorb currently don't evolve. Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Galarian Weezing (maybe others too?) seems to break double battles a little (the sprites will flip around some, not game breaking, but looks funny)
- Mega evolution symbol will stay on screen after the mega pokémon has fainted sometimes. Goes away after battle, or if you view your other pokémon
- In the multi double battles, if all of your teammate's pokémon faint, it may not let you switch
- Galarian Yamask can't currently evolve to Runerigus. Fixed and re-uploaded v1.2 patch 7/3/24 (Galarian Yamask just needs to sustain 49+ damage in battle, uses max HP - current HP formula).

Download
Current version attached below as a zipped UPS patch. Apply to a clean Pokémon Emerald rom, Emerald (U) (TrashMan) using NUPS patcher preferably.

If you are on an older patch, you should be able to keep your save file!
Make sure to keep your .sav file, and replace the .gba file with a new one that was patched to a clean emerald rom. Also make sure the new .gba file has the same name as the old one.

hey sloo, Im playing on version 1.2 Im utilizing an anologue pocket to play as well. Ive put in probably about 60 hours on the game so far, its great and I love it, but my game keeps crahsing at the electric gym. any idea whats going on? I love the game I have a lot of fun playing it, but i cant keep grinding only for my save states to somehow be corrupted forcing to me restart... if you or any one else in the community have any idea as to whats going on I would love the help. thanks.

I saw Sacred have a similar issue, he had a Corvisquire and every time he sent it out in the electric gym, his game would crash. I'm not really sure why it happened. Everything seems like it should work.

Sounds like you're doing everything correctly. Just make sure your in game clock says it's daytime, between 6am and 6pm.
The only place you can check is in your bedroom, unfortunately.

Are you using the mGba core on your Analogue pocket? If you are not, that could be the reason. I played this on my MM+ with the mgba core loaded it up, and did not have any issues in my run.

I'm up to fighting the double battle with the rival against team phoenix; the rival pokemon get OKO'd (literally 1 hit) and I can't select any pokemon after his 3 pokemon have fainted. It just gives me "summary" and "cancel" option in the pokemon screen.

Another question I have is why is the rival's pokemon so bad in this battle? I'm even a lower level than his pokemon and can take 3 hits before fainting.

I know this suggestion is pretty insignificant, but it was an idea that came to my mind and I thought "why not suggest it?", the game is really good! It's hard to find things to suggest. (Sorry)

Happy to have helped! Let me know if switching to Mgba helps! As for Dunsparce, i don't think it does in the current version, since evolutions are till Gen 8.

Can confirm I've tried with another H Sneasler, evolving with rare candy and in battle. Current 1:40pm ingame time

Valid point, easy battles provide little engagement. I had to level up my mons like 3-4 levels each, dragon dance the fuck out of my flygon while his pokemon was taking one hit KOs and just pray that flygon was fast enough and had enough HP to survive. Rival's pokemon literally didn't hit a single move before being one shot.
Similar vibe with the dad, his pokemon during double battles sucked ASS hahah I would have rather just fought by myself with my 6 pokemon xD

I cannot beat this game even in a casual play through. I am up to the Ecruteak Gym, and I need to train up different mons, but the wild Pokemon only give ~100 exp. Is there a way to get a lucky egg or something to increase exp gain?
