The patch DOES work, but only on an expanded 32MB ROM. And LC never told that to us in the first place. And now he said this.

Lemme put it this way.

>Players started questioning him.
>Told players to shut up for not looking hard enough.

I expanded the rom with XSE and then tried patching it with NUPS. Says that the file doesn't match.

Don't know what else to do now.

that happened to me to i pressed ignored and it worked until i went to new game then there was a weird noise and black SCREEEN.
 
1-8-17 UPDATE:

Ugh, fine, if it will shut people, the patch has been updated. It should work on 16 MB Pokémon Emerald ROMs. If it does not, I don't what to tell you. Mine works fine.
Also, some tiny fixes:
-Safari Zone freezing glitched (now with infinite steps, so explore to your heart's content! Just need to get rid of the Retire option from the menu)
-Fixed Sylveon evolution problem (it wasn't evolving, even if Eevee learned a Fairy-type move.)
-Fixed odd Pyroar backsprite (its background palette was showing lol)

Honestly, I think it would be so much easier to upload the ROM but *sighs* I don't want to trigger anyone.
 
Might be just me, but I can't open the zip file listed here. Anyway, I'm assuming the one on your Youtube channel is the latest? That works fine, thanks.
 
Just got the latest from your youtube channel and it works . . . I could not get the patch from this page to work I tried 3 roms and even expanded versions of each . . . never the less really amazing game keep up the great work love your mods and I hope the patch stuff works out some how for everyone.
 
Is there any way to take a part in contest? Im asking cause every time i try to do it the game just freezes :"(

Within the documentation that comes with the patch, look at the ItemLocations.xls file
 
i don't know how to "patch" this. I've never do this before so i don't understand. Can someone tell me?

I'm using that one.
I asked because the black-screen-while-checking-stats bug happened after I patched a emerald ROM with LLC's current patch (the fixed one)

The Item Locations file lists it as "Meteor Falls". But that is a huge, huge place.

Considering that you're literally asking for the exact location, you could just do a dummy copy of the ROM, open it with A-Map and check where the item is by yourself.
Note: By "Dummy Copy" I mean coping TEEX's ROM into your desktop, open that one in A-Map, check the spot of the Salamencite and then delete said ROM, just in case.

ON: LCCoolJ95, in my honest opinion you seriously need to fix your attitude towards your players, reading at your posts from the previous 2 or 3 pages was a disgusting experience, no kidding.
That aside, I hope to be able to try the latest version asap, nice work overall.
