Emerald hack: Pokémon Theta Emerald

I want to create a Super Training Area where you can battle "Pokémon" for EVs. Should I

Just beat the 6th gym. Dunno if it's just me, or it's already known, but the little pathways in the Fortree Gym are glitchy in appearance. They look fine after a battle or accessing the menu.

Here's my team so far:
Skarmory Lv. 32
Mantine Lv. 34
Staraptor Lv. 34
Honchkrow Lv. 35
Charizard Lv. 36

Really wanted to try for a Dragonite... the locations document said Dratini is in Route 114, but after 20 mins I just quit lmao. I'm picky on natures and IV's anyway so I prolly wouldn't get a great one if they're that rare. (Just a thought... it'd be cool if you can get Ditto early game, as then you can at least breed and duplicate any pokemon you want :))

Question, when are the legndaries unlocked? Hopefully sooner than later lol
 
[BUG] In the Pokedex, everything is CAPITAL, besides the Pokemon ofc.

The BEST thing about this hack is, you've de-capitalled everything
 
Please don't abandon this project. Add a way to check EVs and IVs. Replace useless TMs. Fix Move Tutors to the best of your ability. The last interviewer fight still freezes the game. Fix the level curve and try to copy ORAS levelup move lists. ADD AUDINOS AROUND THE MAP AND LEVEL 60 80 and 100 Audinos in the training cave.

It's the same as original Emerald, which I believe is 14. There's a big chance you'll have to release some to make room for others that have not evolved yet.
 
Whew, got through the Elite Four. I gotta ask, are there EV's in the opponent's pokemon? I EV trained and found that certain things still hit pretty hard lmao. Anyways here's a snapshot for my team: https://imgur.com/yRwtrKs

Also, I've been doing a bit of the post game, got to trying to catch Lugia. Question, does Aeroblast go through Protect normally? I don't think so, it might be a bug.
 
A lot of the dialogue no longer makes sense after edits. For example, a fisherman on route 104 refers to his magikarp when he only has a tympole, and a girl in the Petalburg Woods says you have the Rustboro City gym badge in an area that was previously only accessible after obtaining cut.

Also, it would be really nice if you made wild pokemon's levels a bit higher.

Whew! I just finished a Nuzlocke of this game, and it's been quite a ride. The hack is overall really solid, so kudos on that. There is a bit of nitpicking/feedback I'm going to give, though.

  • Alright, first off, please do not make Axews available that early on in the game. Having large Dragon-type beaters before you even step foot into Mauville is a huge gift, especially considering there are no Steel- or Fairy-type specialists in this game. And even if Axew wasn't that good, the worst crime is that they have Dragon Rage, which makes it incredibly dangerous to grind there if you're trying to boost your levels for your rival or Wattson, especially if you're doing a Nuzlocke. 40 HP is at least 2/3rds of any given Pokemon's HP at that point in the game.
  • Also by that, if you can, avoid giving people Explosion, please? I hate losing 'mons to those kinds of attacks. That's just from a Nuzlocker's view though, so you don't have to.
  • I grinded to Level 77 because I just take huge precautions like that before E4 in Nuzlockes, but I can see where other people are coming from with the level curve on the E4 up to Wallace. It's quite steep and most players would be unprepared. But nonetheless, Wallace was way too easy. An end-game trainer should not be using Wailord, Lumineon, and non-Drizzle Politoed, all on the same team. I suggest replacing some of those Pokemon with more competent Water-types like Ludicolo (which was already in the base game), Swampert/Seismitoad, Empoleon, Lanturn, Azumarill, etc. while also toning the level peak down to 63-65, so people who have any fast Electric- or Grass-type at that level doesn't just get a free pass to beating the game.
  • Disappearing people is weird. Have them stick around after they give out their free starter/Manaphy/whatnot to you. Considering some of those people had plain old flavor text in Emerald, it looks really off not having them in their proper location.
  • Third interviewer battle freezes the game, like a lot of people said.
  • More TMs? :D

This was a really fun hack though. I'm looking forward to future updates!
 
hey what emulator can i download for your game? i tried playing pokemon spirit too, but it wont open, it shows error on visualboy
 
Hey, I've been trying to patch the file multiple times, onto multiple emerald roms, using both 1.3 and 1.3w/ move tutors, but both just become blank white screens when loaded up. I turned on ignore on the UPS patcher, but it doesnt seem to work. When i tried it on ask, it says the patch doesn't match the file to be patched.

Any ideas? I really wanna play this hack.

VBA actually isn't the problem, others were working. For some reason no matter how i patch the file, it just white screens.

How would I play this on mobile. Could someone patch it and pm me a link. Bcuz when I patch it on normal it says I have the wrong ROM even though I fucking tried 8 emerald roms
