"It would be better if we had some container, but there isn't so much we can do now."

He walked around to some nearby trees, and picked a few leaves, they were all bigger than normal leaves. He walked back over to Kayleigh when he felt he had collected enough of them

"Okay, thank you!" Kayleigh said as she took some of the leaves and began to dip them into the water, filling them all up. She then grabbed another one and filled it up for herself, so that she could finally have something to drink.
"Now our problem is getting them back up, without spilling everything..." she said, sighing once more.

"It's as if the bad luck is pouncing on us eh?"

He gave a small laugh, thinking of how they could transfer the water, but he had no ideas of how to do such a feat.

"Yeah, I know," Kayleigh replied, frowning slightly. "We need a break from all of this bad luck!"
She looked around, and then picked up a leaf full of water, and walked over to the vine.
"I guess that we can do this one at a time. I'll climb up with one, and then come back down and you can hand me another one. Or, vice versa."

"Ok, but I think you should be the one to do it, you are probably more careful than me. I'll hand you the leaves, and you just try to carry them back up to where everyone is. Or, why don't we all come and stay here?"

"Hmm... That would be nice, but I couldn't hear the ocean!" Kayleigh replied, giving him a sheepish grin. "I love to listen to it. I'll try and take the leaves back up, and if it doesn't work, then... I guess we'll always have to come down here whenever we're thirsty. That shouldn't be too hard."
She quickly took one of the leaves, and began to climb up the vine, trying to hold on with both hands, though it was useless.
"And about that thing where I'm more careful than you... Ehe, forget it. I'm terribly clumsy, so that's not true!"
She continued climbing, having to struggle a lot, but eventually she reached the top. Setting down the leaf on a thick branch, she leaned over and sighed.
"That.. was hard," she mumbled, breathly heavily. "The only way that I knew how to do that was from all of the practice back home... My brother, best friend, and I used to climb everything!"
The thought of that made her a bit sad; it only reminded her of the whole situation.
I wonder how they're doing... she thought. She shook her head, trying to forget the whole thing, and looked down at Zeth.
"Okay, get another one ready!" she said as she began to climb down again.

"Ok, I'll get the other on ready, just be very careful!"

He went down to the water again, and filled the next leaf with water, getting ready fr her return

Kayleigh quickly hopped down and landed on the grass.
"Okay..." she said, taking the leaf from Zeth. She then climbed back up the vine, and set it down on the branch next to the other leaf.
"Do you think that this is enough water for tonight? I mean, it's getting really dark now," she said, looking towards the horizon. The sun was just beginning to set.

"Yea, I guess so, it'll hold out until tommorrow."

He gazed over at the setting sun, stunned by its elegancy and beauty. So many different shades of reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, altogether saying that the day was at closing. He looked at it and realized that it wasn't so bad, they would get through it ok.

((I wonder if people really forget this thread or something... something I can't doubt anymore!! Where are the rest of youuuuu.))

Tom wandered around the beach looking for other people after listening to Jordan's story. He couldn't see anyone. This side is almost as light-hot as the side I came from. Now this is one make-no-sense dry sentence. Speaking of dry... I'm dry... yet not dry too. I'm just dry... but not dry... I'm ok. Dang...
So everyone wants to go home or not...
... I think not.
Tom sat down on the sand facing the ocean. The great mysterious symbol...Watching and listening to the ocean... he thought in images, imagining what the coming days might be like... Everybody seemed too good to be true. Tom wondered why the kids haven't got together to discuss things or if they did and it was just him who missed it.
Possible... and how does everybody just act seperately like that? I guess we just don't have a special leading personality around here... I think we can do without one. I hope. It's working so far... even though I've got no food. Hah. At least my brain's still working. They say that wise men cannot make wise decisions on an empty stomach... true. Meh. And I thought I was going to shout "I'm hungry!!!" as soon as I came from arrived on this side of the island. Nope... no cookers. Hey... Kayleigh's suppose to be able to cook! Oh well. This is too funny. Tom had teary eyes... but didn't cry, he felt lonely. Not such a new feeling to him at all.
Well if nobody wants to go home... then what are our objectives? To live several years here? Tom imagines an atomic bomb explosion. What if the U.S. drops that thing on us in testing? Jesus Christ. Unrealistic? Is the U.S. still testing bombs? Why am I asking myself this? Jesus. Haven't I learnt anything about focusing my thoughts. What to think about... He sniffed. Jesus Christ. He turned expressionless. Now what's with me and saying Jesus Christ all the time. Jesus Christ. What about Jesus Christ. Love thy neighbour as thou love thyself... something he said. Pray for those who persecute you... hah! Jesus Christ. Lalala. .......... Well where to, what weak thoughts you have, 22sa... Haha, 22sa. ............... Why do you go back to the other side of the island and listen to your some CDs? Tom suddenly remembered something.
The little mermaid!!
While still picturing things, remembering how he got to meet Kayleigh and others... Jordan, Evelina... Tom started singing to himself very very quietly.
Part of Your World... Which was a song sung by Arial in that Disney's movie. Tom forgot the words to it at first but managed to remember some bits and pieces.
'... I wanna be, where the people are...
....see them dancing.... walking around.. on
....what's that word again.......... street....
..........up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun~...........
....wandering free, wish I could be... a part of that world....
.......what would I give, to spend a day out in the sun...'
He paused. So Arial loves humanity. She hates the sea. Oops, exggeration. Anyway. So our world is all too wonderful in her eyes...
'You want thingamabobs? I got twenty! But who cares... no big deal.... I want more...'
Hmm... yeah... shut up little mermaid. What I'm wondering about is how you can.... nevermind.
Tom wanted to just lay down on the beach but he didn't...

((........... rofl.... enjoy... or not.))

((Sure, I don't mind. I guess that you'll have to pretend that you were already on the plane and escaped before it crashed, though. ^_^; But still, go ahead and join if you like! Everyone else is already on the island. You may have to read several posts to understand what's going on.))

Alverge is walking farther and farther deep into the woods not looking back. " I dont need them," he said," I dont need any of them. I'll find my own way to survive. Its too bad theres no secret ways to get off this island." he sighs and keeps walking in the same direction until he finds a rock with something carved on it." huh? whats this?." Alverge looks closely and see's that its an arrow pointing to the left. Alverge looks to the left to see a small pathway. He takes the path....

Alverge, welcome!

Miyu-chan, no progress *cough*Imeanchange* except DT & Kay getting water from a valley they found in the woods. I'm sitting on the beach. And Alverge... yeah. Everybody else is dead. -_-

((Er... *tries tosave*))
Evelina was twisting a leaf around her finger when a loud clap of thunder knocked her back to the real world.
She glanced up at the sky to see it turning darker, with dark clouds, and strings of pelting rain.
"Hey guys! It's raining!" she shouted to the rest of them.
