I had a dream last night were I went on Nintendo's twitter (America or Europe, not sure which one) and their latest tweet was Pokemon Bank is going to come out this weekend. I was so happy until I actually went on their twitter in real life to see not a single tweet talking about the date of Pokemon Bank. Hoenstly, I din't know what Nintendo is thinking, are they trying to please their customers by making them wait when it's already out in Japan? Or is this to our benefit?

The wait should be for our benefit. You'd think they're working on fixing the hack check and making sure that the servers can handle a large load. But I'm having trouble waiting for it...woulda been nice if it worked as planned and we all had the PokeBank already.

you know what I think.. I think I might be bit too cynical but... what if Nintendo and Gf is trying to make us forget all about pokemon bank and poketransporter by delaying its realise date? they will keep on saying soon until it is well into MARCH and AUGUST and they will realse "pokemon Z" and we will all be taking about it and GF and Nintendo will be like "crisis averted.."

so the third game in the trio that has traditionally been released TWO YEARS after the first two games (Ruby & Saphire released 2002/2003 (depending on region) and Emerald released 2004/2005, Diamond & Pearl released 2006/2007 and Platinum released 2008/2009, even Pokemon Black & White released 2010/2011 was followed by Black 2 & White 2 in 2012) is going to be moved ahead to 5 - 9 MONTHS after release of the previous games JUST to make us forget about a $5 a year downloadable app?

Well when Pokemon Bank comes out I just don't want the hack check to detect legal pokemon but detect illegal pokemon, that's how most of us want it. Each day Nintendo doesn't release an update on Pokemon Bank, it just reminds me of what happened to Flipnote 3D, 6 months ago the same thing happened to it (server overloaded on release), until now the date is still TBD, I really really really don't want that to happen to Pokemon Bank, but if it does.....honestly, I don't want to even think about it.

Yeah true, but aren't there servers for Japan and separate servers for other countries? I'm not sure though...I'm also starting to think if Nintendo is racist or not, this is how I think. The servers in Japan are already up and running, and so far errors haven't occurred yet. Japan has also the most pokemon players in the world, and the servers are running fine. Why can't Nintendo release the Pokemon Bank for the rest of the world when the servers are gonna have less players than Japan? Unless, if I'm wrong, it doesn't go into my head. Japan just cares about it's people and when they're amused, they don't give a damn about the rest of the world.

I hope that the fact that the Transporter is back up in Japan means that the wait for the release of the Bank and Transporter for the rest of the world is almost over...I'm getting a bit tired of waiting.

The Sherlock fandom got series 3 before we're getting the Pokébank hahaha.
I'm a little disappointed that they didn't anticipate that tons of people would be getting the bank at once but as long as it's stronger and can actually keep hacked Pokémon out when it makes its return, I'll be glad.

poketransporter should have been an App that would work separately from the pokemon bank and allow to transfer pokemon directly with all the modifications and stat changes from the previous generations to the actual games. that way we wouldn't have to wait for the pokemon bank to finally be released in the other countries. lets hope they don't try to make us forget about pokemon bank because that would be impossible considering that it's a world wide issue.

Or... they will release Bank once they feel the system is stable enough to take the influx of activity for it, as opposed to sacrificing an avenue for $$$ while risking that people wouldn't forget (and not all of us have short memories =p).
Clutching at straws, really. Just have a bit more patience, it'll come out soon enough.

Reading a few other sources says that there is still no ETA, but it is still top priority to bring to the rest of the world. Apparently Nintendo eshop staff know nothing more about Bank than we do, so it's really only a guessing game as to when Game Freak decides to release it for the rest of the world. But it will happen, I guarantee it.

Quite impressive! You know though, it's possible to drop one of your legends into the GTS requesting one of the unavailable ones.... one you get it for your dex entry pop it back into the GTS asking for another one.... etc until you fill your dex entries up. It's slow, and you do not get to keep them, but it does work as a way to fill your dex now while waiting for the bank to come up. No one seems to be trading the event only ones (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi........ ) right now, at least a LOT of people are requesting them, but no one seems to be depositing them (as near as I can tell). Of course, the event only Pokemon are not required to fill your National Dex anyway.
I personally want Transporter and Bank open more for sentimental reasons. I want to take my favorite teams and bring them forward. Most of my favorite species I have been able to get without having the bank personally, but due to always loving the Johoto Starters in particular, had Japan not already had access to the bank I would be dying a little more inside (yay, such happy thoughts go out to those people who Wondertraded and/or GTSed their bred unobtainables out into the world).
I will continue to grit my teeth and bear with the frustration, it is a little easier since I have been able to get so many of the unobtainables I wanted. What I do find odd.... A few of the ones you can breed such as Meowth are particularily hard to come by on the GTS.

I know, but trying to get anything, for example Lugia is impossible due to people requesting level 10-30 Suicune in exchange! XD If I could get my hands on just one of them I'd be able to finish all but the events. T_T
