(Oh yes I do know.)
Naren
Naren awoke as she usually did: with the fireflies in her eyes. She blinked and they began to clear. Someday she would wake up without seeing the firefly dream. The sunflower girl had seen it for years; it still scared her. Sighing she rolled out of bed. Bella was instantly awake, launching herself at Naren with the fury of a shadow Pokemon. Naren stepped away to quickly catch her and return her to her ball. IT wasn't that she didn't love Bella. She already did, just she didn't want her mother to think there had been a robber here.
She went tothe kitchen and quietly started to cook. Elisha would wake up on her own and hopefully Elizabeth would as well.
Tyler
"You're the first person to find me here." The statement was calm, unconcerned, stated from a female voice with a masterful deadpan. It was the Gym Leader of Cerulean, Rei, sitting at Cerulean Cape and watching her Milotic soar in the air. She didn't glance up at Tyler's staring form, the boy brushing his white-blonde hair from his eyes. "Should I be impressed?"
"I see you are quite young," Tyler replied. "Should I be impressed?"
"You should be worried for the adults," she replied promptly. "There are too many children in this business."
"The adults are off fighting a war," the male commented quietly, glancing up at the sky, where the sun was rising.
"True," she agreed quietly. "Now, boy, I do believe you did not hunt me down for small talk."
"Of course not," Tyler replied as Dion made his way over. "You know perfectl well why I am here Miss Rei."
"THen shall we begin?"
"Of course. Ready Sila?" His Butterfree flew up to face a Squirtle. Tyler felt his whole body twitch. A different one? A shadow? Who knew?
"Squirtle," Rei ordered emotionlessly. "Decimate." The young Pokemon leapt to obey, a Water Gun bursting from its mouth. Sila tackled through it, slammed back into a fence post with wet wings.
"Joy," Tyler remarked coolly. "A challenge."
