Pokemon Careers!

As we know, in the world of Pokemon there are loads of different careers and professions involving Pokemon. There are the standard Pokemon Trainers who raise Pokemon for battle, Pokemon Coordinators and Performers who focus on the beauty and talent of a Pokemon.

There's also Pokemon Professors, who do research on loads of things about Pokemon. Pokemon Breeders who work in the Day Cares, and then there's Pokemon Doctors and Nurses who care for sick and hurt Pokemon. That's only just some of many professions people do in the world of Pokemon.

Anyways, this thread now asks you, if you lived in the Pokemon world, what career or profession would you like to do?

I'd probably be a Pokemon Breeder, to be honest with you. I've always wanted the opportunity to be a Breeder-for-a-Day in the Pokemon games, so maybe that's saying something. Or maybe a Pokemon Ranger like in the Pokemon Ranger series.

I love history so I would want to be a Pokemon historian or researcher, or be a curator or archivist in a Pokemon museum in whichever region.

I'd probably be a Pokemon Coordinator, since it offers a new way to train Pokemon. I love the fancy outfits the trainers also wear, but it's seeing the Pokemon show off their moves that I love best about the contests.

I'd want to be a Pokemon photographer, much like Todd Snap. Sure, being able to use Pokemon in battles and contests is great and all, but it would be great to observe Pokemon in the wild, as well as under the care of a trainer. Plus, it'd be exciting to travel the different regions of the Pokemon world, not having to worry about needing to train my Pokemon or perform all the time.

If we're going with actual canon professions... I'd go with Professor's assistant or Ranger! Actually i guess my real desired profession is canon... I'd like to be a ferry captain, for smaller ships. Running passengers and goods around wherever I live. :>

I'd likely be a researcher to develop and produce the latest and best healthcare and beauty products aimed at pokémon ;D with sidebrands for their trainers.

Pokemon Coordinators have a good thing going for them. If I couldn't be the Breeder I talked about back there, then I would want to be a Coordinator.
i could be your companion tbh like you know how james is to jessie in sinnoh and kalos? i'll help you do costuming and production and keep you happy and fed :> like i love the coordinator circuit but i dont think i'd be a good competitor or anything, i'm happier helping out

You're really sweet, you know that? Now I wish that Pokemon was real even more so, this way we actually COULD have Pokemon Contests.

    Same for me!

I would be a breeder and/or a Pokemon coordinator. I really loved the contest in my game Ruby. The contest in the anime are something I liked the most too. And I do breed a lot in my recent games. Well, not for sun as from now since I didn't beat the game yet... but soon-ish!

I'd love to be an Elite Four member, even more than a Champion or Gym Leader. I don't know why but I always enjoy battling the E4 in games over any other battle which is probably why I'd want that position. Dark type specifically. I'd be tough though, I couldn't afford to fork out over 10k for every battle I lost.

I'd either be a Hex Maniac or a Gym/E4 member, since I've been playing for so long lol. But for real. Hex Maniac.

I'd probably go with being a trainer, simple as that. I'm perfectly content living off the land and traveling the world with my Pokemon. Who needs money when you've got Poke-friends! :D

Id actually go with professer but would center my field of expertise of everything I can learn about different types of dark and ghost type pokemon. What I like to specilise with in game

Ah medicine. That's a good choice of a Pokemon-related job, since I could imagine what Pokemon medicine and other products developed in the future could be.

Most definitely a coordinator. I'm an artist in real life, so I enjoy the fashion, the dancing, the feedback from the audience and judges. I also have fun with the process of collecting beautiful props for my Pokemon to use on stage throughout the game. Plus I may be able to meet Wallace :D

Its a great opportunity to do something intimate with your Pokemon like cook up delicious treats or give them soothing skin massages to improve their condition. I feel like its an easier life for a Pokemon and though I don't consider myself a great coordinator in game i think the work can be more satisfying than battling, especially if our vision could take shape in real life.

Its also wonderful to get a chance to spotlight pokemon you like but who are not as competitively viable, maybe its an early game Pokemon whom you still love or a Pokemon who you don't want to see evolve or just doesn't have the IVs or nature to match the opponent. None of that matters here, this Pokemon can shine the way they are.
