Hack of Pokemon Crystal

Storyline

Spoiler:

You start your Pokemon journey in Sunshine City and Prof. Elm has a task for you.
He's going himself to the meeting in Sandstone City and that's why you've to go and see Mr. Pokemon in his place.

After getting to Mr. Pokemon's house, you'll hear that terrible things have happened:
A red-haired man attacked to the laboratory with a few men-in-black and stole a pokemon.

This is where epicness begins.
You go back to Golden City and find Prof. Elm's assistant there.
He'll tell you that he came to see you with time machine, one year from the future.

Future of planet Suden turned out dark...
It seems that there is a strong person who seems to be the new leader of Team Rocket and is planning to take over the whole planet.

However, by knowing that, future may be changed and you might get some extra training from Lance himself, the current Pokemon League Champion.
If you can beat Lance perhaps you're the one who has the power within...

NOTICE !!!
This hack contains language that may affect young children.
There is no curse in the game but this time Team Rocket is actually evil so if you can't take being laughed or abused, I'd say you shouldn't play this game.
If you're at least 12 years old, you shouldn't have a problem playing this game but if you're under that age, play it if you think you can take it ;)

-In the beginning, if you name your hero the dots will look like this _
-When talking to trainers in Sunshine Gym from different locations either you or the trainer may disappear
-If you don't start the game with the male hero, the text in some parts will be a little weird...
-Ledge in front of Mart in Golden City is trying to block access to Golden City PC because it shouldn't be entered before taking the Egg back to Prof. Elm (has an effect on the storyline)
-If you visit Golden City PC before delivering the Mystery Egg, Elm won't take it back anymore

The storyline is slightly different from the one you know it.
Red isn't the ruler of Team Rocket and has actually nothing to do with it.
By Rocky Village, you haven't even heard about his existence but you'll find out when you get to East-Suden. All the text that had Red in it has been changed into Blue as he's the real leader of Team Rocket.

The planet Suden is divided into two parts, West and East.
There is a rumor that there are elemental keys that can be found in East-Suden.
Fly back to Sunshine City and read the book in Itemfinder's house to know more about that legend.

If you're willing to, you can meet two trainers of Sandstone Gym in Sandstone Supermarket so that you'll know them when you'll see them later on.

seems pretty interesting. u might wanna elberate the story a little cause it just sounds like a crystal with new city names and a few maps and starting with eevee. but ill keep an eye on this. seems intersting

I planned on making this game so that turbo mode isn't needed when playing it.
That way gym leaders will be overleveled to you when you beat him if you don't train much.
I've no idea how tough Red is going to be but far from the stage he usually is in my hacks.

and since Clefairy is "from the moon" It's speculated to be an alien.
so area 51 full of clefairys would make sense =D

I don't think there will be an area 51. The routes are renamed to area and only go 100+.

I can't change the number of letters the routes have in so you're practically right about that the areas are all +100.
However you do remember routes 1-9 right ;)

Yeah I think I can do Area 51 with Clefairys.
Should there be Clefables (and Cleffas) or other pokemon there as well ?

The name is chosen as won't be Red's Revenge any longer.
It's going to be: "Pokemon Dark Future" :D

Why was it changed to Dark Future? I think you should use Red's Revenge since it's a better name.

Red's Revenge may sound better at first but:
1) Red has no revenge for anything
2) Dark Future is related to the hack better

Also I'll probably post new screenies which aren't in the demo soon.
Btw I think I'll upload alpha when the hack is edited up to the 3rd gym.

The first town is an edit of Ecruteak City, that's why it leads down and you battle a Psychic with 1 Pokemon.
