Tied. Metal Claw is STAB, but not very high power. 10% chance to raise attack vs 30% chance to paralyze. Checked both on a Pokemon Aron would hit neutrally and Body Slam is a bit stronger. Then again once it's leveled up we'd probably bring it in against something it can hit super effectively. Having 2 Steel type moves for Fairies, Ice and Rock types wouldn't be bad.... Tied. Hmm... is there any point in delaying the fight? Could potentially try to fight it with Alcremie which would resist it's Dark type attack and be immune to it's STAB Dragon attack. Alcremie would still not like a Slash though. Aron would resist it and the Dragon attack, but not the Dark type attack. Both would need to be leveled up first too.... as would anyone at the hideout.
We might potentially be using a couple Orbs to help out with this... could luck out and have it nap through our attacks. Joining A)

Tied. Close quarters narrow pathways. Probably not a huge amount of traps, but anything that is there probably can't be avoided. Could get Ice Punch sealed or leeched or have Simipour's Defense dropped. Would probably lose Simipour in those cases. Joining A)

8-4) A Slumber Orb puts an enemy to sleep so we can pass it without fighting it or start the fight with it asleep. Do we use a Slumber Orb in this room?

Tied. Druddigon could potentially be a dummy and just Hone Claws multiple times. Has 3 attacking moves though and could have Sheer Force, which would affect Crunch. Rough Skin isn't nice to deal with either. Should probably join B) to improve Simipour's survival odds. Simipour isn't particularly vital imo, but if it goes down Trevenant would be up against Druddigon... Not very confident in it living a Crunch. Would then lose 2 Pokemon before Hawlucha finishes it off. Yeah joining B).

We switch the lead to Alolan Persian fight any enemies in these rooms offensively. We don't use any Orbs in the first room.
We tell Sableye the gem that reminds her of her favorite food is the Fairy Gem and recruit Sableye and send her to the hideout.
We pick up both Blue Shards and try to pick up the treasure chest.

We switch the lead to Simipour for the second room and attack the Druddigon. We don't use a Brushoff or See-Trap Orb. We do use a Trapbust Orb and use the Slumber and Lob Orb on the Druddigon and start a fight with it being asleep. We do not use the Totter Orb.

Not bad on the Cheri Looplet. Would have preferred Pecha for poison. Runs into paralysis pretty often, though.

Cannot say for certain what level these wardens are. Guesses about 41 (highest level on the team). Assuming no custom movesets:
  • Gigantamax Drednaw: Headbutt, Counter, Jaw Lock, and Protect. (Likely changes to the Dynamax moves?) Possible Rock Tomb (at level up), Razor Shell (relearner), or Liquidation (level 48).
  • Gigantamax Centiskorch: Fire Spin, Slam, Coil, and Bug Bite. Bumps Fire Spin up to G-Max Centiferno, which is 90 power and with the Fire Spin effect.
  • Mega Mawile: Taunt, Iron Head, Sweet Scent, Crunch. Notes Play Rough at 48.

Tested a generic Alolan Persian (with Power Gem) versus Gigantamax Centiskorch. Only dealt 33-39% with Power Gem (versus 100% Dynamax hitpoints). Took 56.8 - 67.6% on the G-Max Centiferno. Ehhh no.

Hawlucha versus Gigantamax Drednaw: 29 - 34.6% on Drain Punch or Brick Break. (Recovers slightly more than that with Drain Punch.) Suffers 49.1 - 57.8% on Max Strike, but only 26.3 - 31.5% on Max Darkness. Only gets worse with a possible Max Rockfall (66.6 - 79.8%) and unlikely Liquidation -> G-Max Stonesurge (79.8 - 94.7%).

Checked Trevenant. Dies with one Max Darkness. Hits pretty hard with Horn Leech, though.

Simisear versus Mega Mawile: 84.7 - 100% on Fire Pledge. 60.8 - 73.9% on Incinerate. Will get two-shot by Crunch and Iron Head. Easily outspeeds it. Seems like the best option.

Tied. Gigantamax Centiskorch vs Mega Mawile. Well I punched Hawlucha vs G-Max Centiskorch in to see how it would do. An Acrobatics without any held item does 87-103% if it has full IV's in Defense. Becomes 64.6 - 78.1% if also full EV's in Defense.
Becomes 105.2 - 126.3% if No Defense IV's or EV's. Might wanna consider unequipping Hawlucha's Black Belt for the boss fight.
Dies to 2 Centiferno's though... would suck to lose Hawlucha. Could put it second in line and have someone more expendable soften Centiskorch up though.
Oh right... that's excluding the HP increase though... need the SwSh version of the calculator... where it gets double the HP in the damage calculator at max Dynamax level. Might be too spongy at that much HP for our party to survive tbh. 2 shots most of our party with a not super effective Centiferno.
Might still lose a mon to Mawile, but I think the party as a whole should at least be able to survive against it... not as confident in that with the potential HP increase from Dynamax on Centiskorch. I'll join D)

Potential for some conflicting results here too, so I'll prioritize the lead's vote if it has it's item swapped, and then try to resolve them in descending order in the party, I think. If there's any swaps in the first place that is.

Kinda need to lock in the above votes for potentially swapping the party order and held items before running the fight against the Warden, so the actual fight will be next week.


Some info for the warden fight:

-Wardens have IV's and EVs. This is however the first one so it won't have them maxed out. Haven't rolled for the specific values yet. Will probably end up being between 10-20 IV's per stat, and up to half the possible total EV's in a currently undetermined distribution.

-Wardens can have moves not in their level up pool (TM's, Egg moves etc.). I did not get around to selecting it's moveset yet either, unfortunately.

-During the Warden fight there will be votes on what move to use per turn, for a set number of turns per Pokemon, including votes for what moves the second and third Pokemon in line will use in case the first and second Pokemon faint. If the first three faint the fight will continue the next week with the remaining 3 party members.

-The Warden's moves will not be up to RNG, and it will use the most damaging move it has for our Pokemon that's fighting it. It may or may not have a boosting move (again, haven't selected it's moveset yet).

-The Warden will match the level of our highest level party member.

-Orbs do not work during a Warden fight. Debated this for a pretty long time. Had to exclude the Brushoff Orb, for obvious reasons, as well as damage dealing Orbs as they could potentially trivialize the fight. The Invisify Orb would accomplish nothing as we can't leave without defeating the Warden. Which would leave the status inducing Orbs... which had me go back and forth on them for quite a while. The Slumber Orb however has the potential to make a Warden nap for the entire fight, which would make for a pretty lame boss fight in the case of a Mega warden imo. For a G-Max Warden, it might not be so bad as they get a high HP buff.

-There are no traps in a warden room aside from the Wonder Tiles at the entrance, which are there to clear any stat changes.... though we just went to the Hot Spring so there wouldn't have been any in this case. Wasn't sure how to handle Dark/Fairy types' trap ignoring bonus here as the stat clear trap is there to stop us from entering with a really buffed up Pokemon. Ends up not mattering in this case though. *shrugs* Should maybe just exclude Wonder Tiles from the trap ignore bonus in the future.

Ooh, no orbs? Rough. Understands, though. Stomps a boss pretty easily with Sleep + Confusion off the bat (unless they have a Lum Berry). Fine with Wonder Traps triggering on Dark and Fairy types too.

2-1) E) Yes, use it on Simisear. For the fight. Would not mind hanging onto it either.

The Warden fight:

Simipour could've been saved with a bit better RNG/luck. Slightly higher Incinerate damage roll would've saved it. Or Scald for that matter. Would also have lived had I not given Mega Mawile 8 HP EV's for +1HP. Would also have lived if we had used and hit the Heat Wave. Would however have lost Simisear, Simipour, Hawlucha and maybe even more had Heat Wave missed.
On the plus side we landed the 30% to burn on Scald.

There was no room in our inventory for Simipour's Mystic Water or the Play Rough TM, so they've been sent to storage.
There is no base Exp. for Mega Mawile specifically, so I took Mawile's Base Exp and multiplied it by 1.5 for a base exp. for Mega Mawile to use in the exp formula I've been using.
Wasn't sure to assign EV's or not... given how the fight ended. Hawlucha didn't actually end up fighting... I gave it the EV's for beating Mega Mawile anyway for being next in line, which is Mawile's EV x 2 (for being Mega).

Simisear and Simipour have fainted and have left the party.
We've cleared the Act 1 Main quest, Escape the Dungeon (Part 1), by beating the Warden.
Hawlucha, Persian, Aron and Trevenant gained 3.960 Exp. for it.
Hawlucha leveled up to level 42, Persian leveled up to level 42, Aron leveled up to level 31, Trevenant leveled up to level 39.

D) Yes, go turn in the quest with Trevenant in the lead.
E) Yes, go turn in the quest with whoever we re-recruite in the lead (if any).

A) Go backtrack to deal with the 2 Bidoof that were skipped.

F) Proceed to the next Act by going down the stairs in the Warden room.

Mainly offering up the shops in case anyone wants to stock up on something before leaving the act. The only one with new inventory is Mienshao, who now that the Warden is defeated sells Exp. Candy L. We can still access the shops from the next Act though, as soon as we find an Abra.
