FireRed hack: Pokemon Nameless Version(Complete Beta 5.36 Released with Darker Future Episode)

I haven't, I do know a bit about some Japanese hacks, but I've never participated in any of these projects.

Thanks a lot for liking what I've made, the lack of time really have made it impossible to work on anything for now, so I can't promise anything yet.

Of course.
Okay, I asked because the Mega Evolved Pokémon owned by Frigus/Verite, the gym in Pokemon Mega Power, is Aurostice/Merazado from Because it similar Procyon Deneb.

Is there a link for more info regarding Alpha/Omegs? I ran into the name couple of times but I couldn't find anything about it.

This here is not the original, it's a reboot

You need to find Pandroa in Rose Town first. And then go to Skylight Village to continue.

You need to go from the other way, solve the invisible path puzzle to continue.

You need to go to the ferry and come back to talk to Xander.

This seems to be a glitch which occurs when you completed the Pokedex, I will fix this later, it won't take too long. Thanks a lot for telling me about this.
What invisible path puzzle?
I also have the same problem 😭
Same problem here. I don't play Pokémon for puzzles or riddles - I'm not very intelligent in that way. I rely heavily on walkthroughs and videos to get me through them, so that I can access the parts of the game that I *can* play. But there isn't anything I can find online on this obstacle to the last gym in the latest version.

I love these games and I really don't want to have to give up on yours now 😭.

Please help?

EDIT:
To help you to help me/us (because my neurospiciness wreaks havok with my understanding of people and things):

* What do I need to have done already for it to be possible to access this part of the game?
* What routes do I need to go to?
* What do I need to do on those routes?
* What people do I need to talk to and where will they be?

SOLUTION FOUND TO THE BELLADONNA MANSION ISSUE IN THE NEW VERSION

The difference between this part of the new version and the versions on YouTube and other walkthroughs appears to be the addition of a new puzzle inside the mansion which you need to beat. It has to do with the brown 'x' markings on the void on the first floor. Because there are no hints or explanations from NPCs it is easy to think that the brown 'x'es are just part of the décor, but they are in fact a puzzle that works the same way as the trainers in Ecruteak Gym in Pokémon Silver (Google it if you aren't familiar and my explanation below is too complicated). You need to complete this puzzle to get the final badge and continue the story.

HOW THE PUZZLE WORKS
Basically you need to find a path to another room by walking on the black void without falling through. You can walk on it provided that you walk in the direct path of a brown 'x' (or as close as possible to 'direct' if the 'x' is situated diagonally across from you).

Hope that helps everyone!

Can I just say that the world-building is absolutely colossal ❤️? The sheer number of places, characters and stories, and alternative timelines, and changes of identity and allegiance... it's absolutely to your credit that you have the skill and commitment to produce all that 💯. However, the game is for the players too, and we mostly don't have your skills or grit. If you're doing any future updates it would be really worthwhile to spend time on QoL features to help us deal with how big the world is. It would really help us to understand who's who and what's located where. If this sort of organisational, detail-oriented task of listing, classifying and registering and inputting data isn't where your heart lies or where your skills are, can I suggest finding a team member who could take that on? I don't know who, but there *have* to be people who would love to do that.

Here are some QoL ideas I can think of:

1) In 'Think', a list of steps for each 'episode' numbered, so that we can know if there's something we've missed. Sometimes we can't progress in the story and we don't know why, and it's because we haven't done something. It wouldn't be necessary to write what to do, just to indicate that something is missing. I mean something like this:

*Episode VI, Dark future 3: (COMPLETE)

* Episode VII, Dark future 4: (COMPLETE)

* Episode VIII, Dark future 5: (INCOMPLETE):

1. Meet Mewtwo at the portal

2. ......................(go to Enif City, Tyron)

3. ......................(Go to Orange Village, Lande)

4. Meet engineer at the statue

6. ...…............(Go to Belladonna Town, Lande)

2) A 'Who's Who' section under 'Think' where you can select quick bio stories of characters from a drop-down list. Someone made an enormously large document on DeviantArt detailing all the characters but it's so big and it applies to so many different RomHacks that to just play Nameless and recognise the characters, there's a lot of reading, searching, filtering for relevance, and piecing together details and connections. There's no denying that it's impressive, but it's a text comprehension study unto itself, and some players don't have those skills.

3) A town map that covers Tyron and Lande together, so that forgetting where a city or a route is doesn't require us to take the ferry back and forth between Tyron and Lande to find it again. Also, a Fly map for Lande that looks the same as the Town Map would ease unnecessary difficulty for some players.

Please take all of this in good faith. I have effectively criticised your work and I know that criticism (especially from those you don't know if you can trust) can hit a tender place in people. However, as with having a Pokémon battle with someone you respect to help them get stronger and they wind up needing to use a Pokécentre, I'm being critical because I like your work and I want to help you make it better.

Maybe you? I need to port it to Japanese ROM.

I have integrated this solution into the detailed walkthrough I have. Thanks again!

Would this, by some chance, be something to do with my DA posts? I didn't make any enormously large documents, just posts regarding some characters that recur in the Wind hacks, each post only talking about one character or a set of characters.

Thanks for your reply, and for listening to me. Please don't put my name on the solution; just take it. I used that walkthrough heavily to get me through the game, and the work you have put into it is amazing. Thank you.

I did read a frankly encyclopedic series of DA character bios by a user called nmolivia. Are we talking about the same thing? It had every character in every romhack story, including all events and alternative futures, going on for pages and pages. I could not imagine the hours put into it all. And yet all I was using it for, was as a reference from my smartphone after in-game dialogues where I said to myself, "Wait, who was that again?". The format is not as quick-reference-friendly as it could potentially be, but it was an absolute gift - so much so that I think the relevant parts of it deserve to be incorporated into the game as a QoL feature. I can't imagine having finished the game without that plus the walkthrough. Thank you so much for creating it/them.

I have removed your name and consolidated the info then.

My account is nmmolivia actually and yes those were my DA posts. There's a bit of confusion as I did not make one post but rather several, and the way they are set up is that they are like pages you might find on a wiki.

Thanks for your suggestions. For now, I have no plans to add new things. But still, I will look into what you mentioned to see if there's anything I can do if I were to add something new.

Hello! I'm playing this hack on the cartridge… can anyone give any info on how to evolve Kadabra to Alakazam? Thanks so much!

Kadabra evolves at Lv37.

Some glitches were found recently, like the possiblity of the repel system making the npc freeze and the "Where to get certain skills" system might be disabled too early, to fix these, the game was updated once more.
The new Beta 5.36 contains the following changes:
The potential glitch of the BW repel system was fixed.
The glitch which may disable the "Where to get certain skills" system before you get all skills was fixed.
Catching Pokemon now gives Exp. points(Credits to DoesntKnowHowToPlay).
The maximum money was expanded(Credits to JPAN).

hey guys...little problem here with Xander...started the game v5.30, got exp. share 2, Xander not triggering...okay, read the articles about it...downloaded the 5.36 and 5.10 versions, loaded my save into these...everything goes fine, but Xander still not triggering...i tried to go back to Monolith town, than again back to Xander, still nothing...am i missing something?
p.s. : even deleted the exp. share 2 with save editor, went with the ship to Whitewave city, go back to Lande region, Xander still not triggering, even when the exp. share is not in my backpack

Xander's event is not supposed to be triggered when you have the Lande Medal or Badge Case, the Exp. Share 2 is irrelevant. If possible, you can send me your save file so that I can check out what really is going on.
