I might get this game for Christmas. At first i didn't really care about it, but now it is really appealing to me. I didn't really like Shadows of Almia though. I even preferred the first one to Shadows of Almia. :\
Spoilered just in case. ;)
Spoiler:
Okay, so I've got the game and completed it. It wasn't that hard, and only took around two days to complete. ^^ Probably not even that. Anyway, I've done the Ranger Net missions... well, except the Deoxys one because I don't know anyone else who owns the game and lives near me. Nevertheless, I've got a free Shaymin,, Heatran and Manaphy, all which were on my Platinum but not on my Soul Silver, which I transferred them too. Meh, at least i don't have to trade them from Platinum. The Heatran with eruption is okay, but I'm not too excited about it. The same for the Riolu with Aura Sphere from SoA. All of the special missions were quite good and well thought of... well, maybe not the Manaphy one. But then again, Manaphy is getting kinda overused now. In Ranger 1, it was okay. But now... yeah. :\
Anyway, I enjoyed the story and felt more involved. Unlike SoA, which kinda bored me. The boss fights were amazing. Especially Ditto. :) Regigigas was quite easy, which was disappointing. I thought it'd be harder. The past missions are also kinda boring too, but then again, if I had someone to play them with, it'd probably be more fun. The quests... well, there still boring. ^^' I didn't really like them in Almia, and I still don't really like them. They're normally quite boring and pointless. The characters were quite cool.
The main antagonist(s) is/are quite predictable, in my opinion. It's basically the same kind of thing as SoA and Ranger 1. The "innocent, kind person who turns out to be the main antagonist." :\
The sky is a good feature, and I loved how it was implemented. It's how I imagine fly would be in the main games. :)
Overall, a good game though. Probably my favourite ranger game. ^^
