Eh. Wasn't it said that Deoxys had Red's DNA? As in, taken right from him. If that's so, he doesn't qualify as family, I wouldn't think. He'd qualify as part of Red himself, but not a family member.

I have to agree. I think genetically Deoxys is a psychic superpowered clone of Red, not a family member.

Un-genetically, it's a clone of the other Deoxys, and came from space

Technically, I suppose, Mewtwo was nearly defeated by a human! (as in, without help from pokemon, not when Red and Lance both bettered him in battle)

In Pokespe, impossibilities are quite possible. Though I highly doubt Kusaka would actually make Deoxys Red's father. His quality hasn't slipped down THAT far. The clone bit seems more probable, however.

And if we ever do see Blue's parents again, I want to see them with, you know, personality.

edit: sorry for the slight negativity. the latest netkun update had me a bit bummed out and cynical. We're in need of more enlightening topics.

can anyone update me on how far pokespe is? I tried looking up info on bulbapedia and serebii, but it's not updated on which volumes have been published and by which publishers. Is the platinum arc in volumes yet? The last thing I remember is that the DP arc is still going on and the HGSS arc has started appearing in the magazines.
pokespe seems kind of slow compared to the progress of the games, I mean they still have DP, Plat, HGSS, and BW (if they're doing a BW arc)

Hi moonlight. Quick catch up: DP is over, Plat & HGSS are still running and BW is... I havent kept up on it.

From where I am at, they are heading over to the three Lakes to save Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit. As for Platinum, Dia and Pearl go to the mansion in Enterna Forest to meet up with Rotom. That is the only thing I know so far.

Yeah, I typed this in yesterday, but then the pc broke....

So, here it is (According to the summaries on Serebii.net, but then again, they're not as up-to-date as Coronis' forum posts):


- Platinum is currently battling/about to battle Castle Valet Darach.
- Dia and Pearl? God probably doesn't even know....my personal theory is the "two special people" Platinum is trying to save are either Dia/Pearl, or the bodyguards...it'd be more logical to be the bodyguards, though...
