Currently volume 34. I'm getting into the dp spirit! ^^

As for yellow's birthday, it's just in 2 days! We must spam pictures and facts and other stuff ^^ I shall go search for fanfics involving yellow right now ^^

3. I wouldn't know too much about N. oo;; I haven't played Black or White yet...
4. Look on the bright side, they are not a plot device. :3 Also, Sird has a Darkrai, Dia has Regigigas (which reminds me of Hareta from DPA! and his Regigigas.) If Dia and Pearl and investigating Legendary Pokemon, it's safe to say that we'll continuously see them throughout the arc.
5. and 6. I'm just glad Mewtwo is ok (and I'm hoping that Mewtwo comes back with a vengeance.) And man, I still want to know what Sird wants with the Pokedexes..
7. I'm at a school computer right now, so no pic at the moment, but if you look at the R/S arc and the Emerald arc, there is a female professor who was working on making a Green orb to control Rayquaza. that is Platinum's mother.

Oh dang that's a lot of info! I now remember that Regigigas back in SnowPoint city but we didn't know anything about what happened to it. She it to Diamond which makes that his final Pokemon I'm guessing? So far out of his whole entire team; Diamond had caught at least only one Pokemon.

Cherrim was given to her from Gardenia while Pachirisu was given from Volkner? At first I thought that she caught those two Pokemon but never knew that they where given to her. I was about to say; what's going to happen to her bodyguards? Are they going to be trapped in that dimension. At least we finally get to see them again. I wonder if that means that Pearl and Diamond aren't her bodyguards anymore and they have split up.

Diamond and Pearl will be investigating Rotom I'm guessing since we saw that preview earlier. I'm exciting on reading this now. Oh wait....Dawn's mom is in Emerald? -might read that one now once I finish Yellow version- I'm looking forward for the Platinum version. This is a lot of good stuff that we are hearing. -hugs Chamo-chan-

Lol Poor Dia. For some reason (unless Kusaka decides to copy Ihara and let Dia keep Regi) I have a feeling Regigigas won't be on Dia's team for too long.

I was more surprised that Volkner had a Pachirisu... Platinum is going to rescue her real bodyguards, which I imagine, she must feel guilty for pulling them into this whole Team Galactic mess. And yeah. I'm pretty sure the trio has to split again. at least Dia and Pearl are together, but Platinum is by herself.

I think the Rotom chapter kinda tied into the game implications where Charon was the one who discovered Rotom. Yeah. like I said before, Platinum's mother is the female professor who was in charge of creating the Green orb (until a rampaging Salemance decided to ruin everything.)

Hmm, I think I'll just repeat the three questions anyways...

Favorite Characters?

1. Yellow, for sure. She's just so cute~! <3
2. Ruby, because he is just so hilarious. =D
3. Red, because of his obliviousness. =3

Favorite Pairings?

1. Special Shipping. My absolute fav, (although I really only have two) <3
2. Frantic Shipping. Because Ruby and Sapphire are just too cute together. =D
(Sadly, this doesn't have a number three)

Favorite Arc?

1. Yellow, because Yellow is the star. <3
2. LeafGreen/FireRed, because, to me, it seems to be the best one so far. Plus, it has two of my three favorite characters. <3
3. Ruby/Sapphire, because to me it seems to be the second best. <3

I only don't really like Sird because she turned Red, Blue, Green, Silver, and Yellow into stone. D= I feel like I'm forgetting someone...but I know that that's all that got turned into stone. XD

Yeah...but Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green were still in G/S/C. Then again, Johto is close by...

Yeah that'll suck though. I was hopping it would. Well I just finished Yellow's version and man this battle was amazing! I just loved every single part of it! It took me at least almost two full days to read it and I was glad that I did. I think I now like Yellow x Red. Since I'm done with reading Yellow; I might go off to read Emerald version.

Charon is a manipulative jerk and tricked Cyrus into thinking that the distortion portal was the "new universe.

That random Professor that was working on the Green Orb, Professor Yanase (btw ChuangYi, you fail for not giving her a dub name! :C) turns out to be Platinum's mother. ....D: WHAT THE FRICK?! D: But at least we have another Dex Holder with both parents, or at least a family, unlike some dex holders (that's right Red, I'm talking to you! :c )

That's exactly what I felt!

And that same Salamence that attacked Ruby and Sapphire, and changed their outlook as Pokemon trainers (for a short while). Amazing how it all connects! These writers are brilliant! :D

Finally, Bebe and…Hayley?? Oh well, I guess ALL characters in Pokemon must make an appearance in the manga! *shrug*

Except that N's dad Ghetsis tricked him, where a scientist lesser than Cyrus tricked him.

Cresselia and Shaymin are too nice of Pokemon to be used for evil purposes.

Dude... DUDE! I checked the forums as soon as I woke up and man was I happy to see this up.
1. Ok I can live with Regigigas being a 1 time deal. (Once again it was really odd for any dex holder (despite how awesome Diamond is)to have a legendary). And the whole investigating legendaries thing. That's pretty damn cool. For one this explains that random Rotom chapter that confused a ton of people. Oh snap... does that mean that Dia and Pearl are going to be doing the oak's letter quest? Because that would be crazy.
2.Sird has a Darkrai, yup this one didn't phaze me at all (Its so perfect). One things for sure. Where there is a Darkrai Cresselia is close by. Plus all that backstory on FRLG makes some a lot of sense now. I like the fact many questions where answered.
3.Platinum has mom, go figure (This was definitely the most random thing that was reviled in my opinion).
4. Cyrus was TRICKED!? By CHERON!? Did not see that one coming. However I'm still gunning for a Cyrus showdown in the distortion world. (I miss the criminal boss vs. hero of the arc battles, WHERE ARE YOU RED AND GIOVANNI!?)

I'd have more to say but I'll wait till the rest of the stuff is out.

Well, I don't know what's going on in the first half. Black and White reach another city, White looks all excited about something, but Black ignores her and goes to train Musha ant Tula.
Then the Director guy appears. 8U I don't know why.

Oh~ The Second half shows some Gym Leaders. Apparently, Black is already at Nacrene City (Shippou City), and he is at the Museum. We see Lenora (Aloe), Nacrene city's gym leader and Burgh (Arti), Castelia city's gym leader. We also see Lenora's husband Kidachi and the Museum, and the Dragonite skeleton. Also, DYNAMIC WHIRLAPEDE ENTRY! :U
I want to know why he is in Nacrene City already. :/ where is the Striaton battle, Chili, Cress and Cilan? :c

the third half still shows last month's plot with Cheren telling Prof. Juniper about Black.

Now that that's over, I'm guessing you guys don't care because you want to know about Vol. 38.
So, here is some more info, quoted from Coronis again. (and more commentary.)

Quoted from Coronis on serebiiforums:
1) Palkia's Spacial Rend has the ability to distort dimensions on the receiver apart from doing damage, while Dialga's Roar of Time has the ability to actually turn back time and 'undo' events apart from doing damage

2) We actually don't know if the Cherrim Gardenia gave Platinum evolved from her Cherubi. She simply gave a Cherrim to her

3) The energy center created by Dialga and Palkia's clash started sucking in everything into it, and Dia attempted to dive into the hole to close it from the other side. That's when Regigigas popped out from its Pokeball to help him, and to temporary hold down the deities. However, we see that it's not as strong either, as Dialga and Palkia's further clash sent Regigigas tumbling backwards

4) Dia, Pearl and Platinum pretty much subdued Dialga and Palkia the same way they did in the magazine version by grabbing the 'imbalanced' influence of the single Red Chain on them. Cyrus simply collapsed to the ground unconscious when the deities calmed down, and we still see the fist-bump scene

5) Charon seems to be after legendary Pokemon in general, and he was hoping to snatch Regigigas as well. But his true aim at the Spear Pillar was to investigate on some numerical data about the 'energy center', which is apparently a portal to the Distortion World. He got busted, and when Byron took away his 'analyzer' and inadvertently faced it towards the still gapping hole, some synchrony occurs, causing Giratina to pop out and using its tentacles, drag Dialga, Palkia and Cyrus into the Distortion World

6) Somewhere amidst the fight, when Saque was explaining her deeds to the Commanders, Riley arrived at the Spear Pillar after tracing the aura on the video-speaker-flyer. Saque easily evaded Lucario's attacks with Starmie, and fled with the Commanders. We see that Dia, Pearl and Platinum's Dexes are still with the brain-washed Grunt, so Saque apparently possesses them now

7) During Dialga and Palkia's clash, all the dimensions in Sinnoh become interlinked. Looker actually wasn't working undercover, but was interrogating the two Scientists from Lake Valor, brough to the police station by Dr. Footstep. It's because of this dimensional distortion that when Dr. Footstep walked out of the police station, he ended up at the Spear Pillar instead and was able to interpret Regigigas's footprint. We see Bebe and Hailey, apparently their dimensions got linked up. Many characters in the series like the Contest judges, the Iron Island Steelix also make cameos to show the distortion

8) Volkner becomes intrigued about the change at the Spring Path, and decides to head towards the Battle Zone to meet up with Flint so they can work on it together

9) At the end of the DP chapter, everyone has their own mission. Dia and Pearl set off to investigate on the various legendary Pokemon documented in Charon's notebook. Platinum heads to the Frontier to find a clue on the Distortion World (which her mom, Prof. Yanase Berlitz, believed to be where her bodyguards are). The Gymleaders are sent to the hospital by Cynthia, and I suppose Regigigas remains on Dia's team

10) The Platinum chapters end at Platinum's challenge at the Battle Arcade, and Buck arrived at Stark Mountain. There is a new page showing Buck entering the room where the Magma Stone is.

The backcover features Looker with his Croagunk (and a police hat) with Cynthia.


Commentary.
1. I've always wanted to know how Time Pony and Space Pink's attacks work. :U
2. Daww, I was hoping it was the Cherubi Gardenia had before. :c *sad*
3. BAD@$$ MoFo REGIGIGAS IS BAD@$$ >:U. Chokin' up Dialga and Palkia.
4. A *slightly* altered version of the original DP magazine ending is still in this Vol., complete with a Sinnoh Trio Bro-fist. Poor Cyrus neva had a chance. BJ deal wit it.
5. Byron, why are you such a derp? :C now Giratina escaped and his holding Dialga, Palkia and Cyrus hostage. :c
6. ;3; Dammit Sird. Y U keep escaping?! :c Now Platinum, Dia and Pearl are STILL Left without Pokedexes. >:U RILEY DO SOMETHING!
7. DUN DUN DUN DISTORTIONS ALL UP IN THIS HOUZ Y'ALL. :U (also, hi Bebe and Hayley)
8. Yay, Volkner and Flint Yaoi team up to go investigate the distortions.
9. Once again, our heroes split up to investigate this new phenomena. Dia and Pearl go find out about Legendaries and Platinum goes on a rescue mission. /pokemonnarraratorvoice.
10. Platinum arc start is pretty much the same. =w= that's all I really wanted to know. and it looks like we may get new material on the Platinum arc in Vol. 39, because this volume ended with Platinum's Battle Arcade challenge and Buck at Stark Mountain.
(It's sad that the Sinnoh Frontier brains only appear in the games, in this manga, and in another manga. Anime people, you fail me for not having them appear. :'c )

The first volume of the wide-ban of the R/S arc is out.

I don't know if the contents of the arc itself has been changed, but I guess we'll wait and see if anything besides the cover has been changed.

(also, I think this is new artwork. I don't remember seeing illustrations like that before.)
