I think these would be useful:

1: The ability to group more than 1 tile together when mapping (similar to Goldmap, where each tile was 4 squares). This would speed up mapping times.
2: The ability to save a map as a file type, then import this into another ROM, and save, rather than just as a map image.
3: The ability to create new fly locations
4: An overworld Map editor
5: A 'clear map' button


Thats all my ideas for now :P

Why would a town need three fly spots?
and more importantly, how would you get to the certain fly spot?
you can't make new fly spots, you can only replace them.
and in case you forgot, the cities are only one tile big.
Rom hacking is limited in space, if you want more flying areas, learn ASM or how to make a MMORPG.

Description: Basicly the ability to use every type of tileset at once with out changing it.

What: tile rotater
Description: allows a tile to be rotated 90 degrees ; a block editor addition
Importance: 4
Tiles cannot be rotated, only flipped (or if flipped V and H, rotated 180°).
BTW, lu-ho, is this written in OBJ-C? Or what language. I want to port this to mac.
It is written in Delphi.
 
Um, I think a simple repoint might work cause ASM is not always needed ;)

but it is still there nonetheless.
People should really fiddle with advance map and find out what works before they post what there should be.
 
Have a tile editor so that poeple edit the picture of the world map and front page(like cyclone).

What: An undo button
What it does: Undos your last action

What it does: Creates a flypoint for you to fly to that location

What: Block Animation Editor
Description: It will be used in block editor, it can edit the animation of the blocks (flowers, doors, water, etc.). It would become very useful because there isn't anything that can edit anything to have proper animation rather then having no animation with the doors and such.
Like this: (animation slot 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) and then the style of animation and the selection of the sound it will make.

R/S/E doors (.....and some other tiles) divised into 2 parts becuz of that it's too hard to change door animation.

Ah yeah, but not in 2 parts but 3 for R/S/E, also the palettes for it is probably 256 cause I inserted 1 door in 16 colors of the palette it is but when tested ingame the color changes lol.

ability to pick a place in the rom and start from there just to test out the warps, scripts, etc. to see if there working right. You could also give your character any number of badges, or pokemon league victory to try out scripts that rely on flags.

don't save where you chose to start to the rom.

you test it out with advance map so you don't have to download a start map choosing tool, find the map bank, start the rom on vba or no$gba etc. watch the intro,etc. just to test out a map or two.

description: in English, the readme file normally contains copyright info, and legal stuff. things people tend to ignore anyway. why not split the the file into different files like "tips and hidden functions", "help", and the readme file with your legal data in it. that will save everyone some time.

description: not enough features have pointers, so if we want to have a look at them in a text editor, we have to really search for them. possibly include an option in the menu to enable/disable this
