6th Gen Possible release date.

Tuesdays are normal release days for all companies. Nintendo and Sony have been having a lot of Friday releases lately so its not out of the question. Sunday releases have slowed down to a crawl but its an old standard release date so still possible.

So we have Sunday November 2nd, Tuesday November 4th, Friday November 7th, Sunday November 9th, Tuesday November 11th, Friday November 14th, Sunday November 16th, Tuesday November 18th, Friday November 21st, Sunday November 23rd, Tuesday November 25th, and Sunday November 30th.

Sales wise, the best dates to release are Sunday the 16th or Tuesday the 18th, the week before Black Friday. This gives all stores a chance to run ads and promote sales for the items. Hardly anything new ever comes out on the week of Black friday so we can exclude 23rd and 25th. For a safety mark they may release on the 30th after black friday if they feel that they cannot make the sales demand which many games never do.

So for optimum sales, November 16th is a good realistic date. Its a full week before black friday's sales. Gives a week to stock as well as run an ad for them. A week before that is also good so starting on the 9th is a safe guess as well. If they want to really just get numbers, as early as November 2nd is possible, but the best dates are between the 16th and the 21st with the 16th being the best for potential sales.

Hmmm interesting analysis you have there, but yeah after a good read of your post I could likely see the 16th as the ideal release date since it'll be a week before the so-called "Black Friday" sales (yeah I know it's something only Americans know exists, and I'm not American) but it'll also be close enough to the release date of the original games as well.

Im assuming you mean the main games as super pokemon rumble was released on december the second if my memory serves me correctly
 
Not sure when the exact release date is, but personally, I'd it to be as early as possible, because I just can't wait to get my hands on ORAS. If it's Nov 1st, then that would be just wonderful. :]
 
November 4 pls since it is kinda my birthday ahahaha xD But I guess 21 is an obvious choice GF would probably make. x3
 
Obviously, I hope for early November! n_n

And not gonna lie, I have no idea which specific day they'll do it. Doesn't really like it matters which day they release it on. BW could have come out a week earlier on Pokemon's (and my ;)) birthday, Feb 27th, but instead they released it early March, so it doesn't seem like dates are a big deal to them.

Same here. I could've sworn the announcement had said the 14th...guess I was imagining things since it hasn't appeared since. Maybe it's intuition?

Perhaps you mistook the year 2014 for the 14th as in the day?

Last night I saw on Youtube someone found a release date of November 7th on Target, the games had a price of $39,99. I visited the Target site and it is indeed true. Then I decided to look on other gaming retailers sites to check for possible release dates. A Dutch retailer called 'Intertoys' had a release date of November 14th, which is also a Friday just like the 7th (Duuhh)
The games are €49,99 as listed on their website: https://www.intertoys.nl/games/pok-mon-omega-ruby-3ds-596123.html
This price is a little bit too high, as the usual price is €44,99 or €39,99.
Another huge online webshop, Bol.com, listed the games a release date of November 15th also for €49,99.

My guess is the games' release date is on Friday November 14th. Last year I predicted X and Y to be released on October 13th, it became the 12th.
 
There was a Dutch site which actually said you could already pre-order it for the 15th of November...

I was thinking a Tuesday in mid-November. Tuesday seems to be the general release day for stuff...at least it was. The 3DS seems to change that rule and I actually downloaded Mario Golf World Tour on FRIDAY MAY 2...which means the possibility of the games coming out on the 12th anniversary of FRIDAY NOVEMBER 21 is very real.

So we got some dates that seem to be around the 14th area. If it's any indication the official World Wide release could be someday in the second full week of November.
 
I'm still going with the 21st. Someone at the Pokémon HQ might realize the date and decide that it's better to wait a week.

There was no way they were letting that one go. They didn't announce original R/S release as the reason, but think about it.
 
I literally couldn't have asked for a better date, November 21st is a Friday! :] Not to mention that's the anniversary of the originals.

The Friday part was a gimme - I mean, Mario Golf World Tour, another game meant to get a lot of people playing that weekend, came out then, on May 2. And everyone was looking for a match that weekend. So there was no question they were sticking with Friday so people could interact with it the following weekend. The anniversary of R/S coinciding was a gimme. They HAD to make it that date. Nothing else will do.
