    So we all know who Sage Ghetsis likes. How about you? Who was your first professor to give you a starter and a Pokedex and then send you off on your first Pokemon journey? Who is your favorite professor overall? And least favorite? Add anything else you feel the need to mention.

    The first for me would be i think Proffesor birch? From sapphire on an emulator :) my fave would be oak for some reasons i cant explain and no least fave all in all,i like em all
     
    My very first Professor was the OG Oak. He has given me a starter so many times, he is my favorite prof as well, although Birch comes in at a very close 2nd. What i like about Birch is 1) his beard and 2) The fact he needs a kid to be saved from a Zigzagoon/Poochyena xD. Least favorite has to be the Rowan (sorry Ghetsis) but he is just so serious throughout the game...i just didnt like him that much
     
    My first professor was good old Professor Oak and I believe he gave me a Charmander as a first starter. My favorite though is a tie between Professor Birch and Professor Juniper. I love how Birch does a lot of his research outside and how he studies wild Pokemon. Plus I've always loved his design. I think I mostly like Juniper because she's the only female of the bunch. But also because of how involved in gen V's storyline, I was more able to connect with her than the others. Professor Sycamore is a good mention because I'm really liking how much younger he is compared to the others and I'm liking what he researches too. Plus his hair and design is great.

    Edit:Rowan is my least favorite because Idk I just find him intimidating and odd.

    I'm not sure if I really have a favorite Pokémon Professor, but if I had to choose, I guess it'd be Oak and Sycamore. Oak because he's the original, Sycamore because he actually does more (just a little bit more) than give you a Pokedex and set you loose.


    And I've always found it funny how they need to ask you for your gender at the beginning of the game. I understand that its for selecting your gender in-game, but its kinda funny how a renowned scientist is unable to determine if the person standing right in front of them is male or female.

    Anyway, my first professor was Oak, but he gave me a Pikachu and I cried and lost my game. :( So then Birch gave me a Torchic years later and that was pretty awesome. My favorite professor is Elm. I know he doesn't do much, but that's kind of why I like him. He's not in my way or telling me this isn't the time to use an item. Least favorite is Rowan for reasons mentioned in the OP.

    The first for me was Oak in Red and he is my favorite. He seems so suave and just an important aspect to the game. My least favorite is Birch. You can't be a Pokemon professor and get attacked by a level 2 Zigzagoon.
     
    Birch is just such a cool character. He's got the manly beard and he wears shorts everywhere. His field of study involves observing pokémon in their natural habitats, and that's exactly the kind of thing I'd love to do if the Pokémon World was real. XD
     
    My Favorite Is , Oak He started my firt Pokemon Adventure, And he has given me the most starter's, And I like the way he talk's
    My least favorite is Rowan don't know why just don't like him.
     
    My first Professor who gave me the Pokedex was Professor Oak... in Pokemon Silver, and the Professor who set me off on my first journey was Professor Elm.

    Professor Oak is my favorite.
     
    My favorite would be Oak, as he is the original. :] Also, he's more famous than all others and appear in more games. Second favorite's gotta be Birch, and third would be Elm.
     
    For the first professor that gave me a Pokedex and started me off on a Pokemon journey was Professor Oak in Blue. He is also my favorite, plus according to dummied out content he was able to be battled. As for my least favorite, it would have to be Elm. As for why I don't like him much is that sometimes he gets so into his research that he forgets to eat. That can be dangerous.
     
    Professor Oak was my first, but my favorite is a tie between Professors Elm and Juniper. I always hated how Elm got overshadowed by Oak and I liked his awkward, sweet personality while Juniper was refreshing for being the first woman professor with a very down to earth, laid back personality compared to the others' more serious or somewhat ditzy personalities.
     
    My first professor was Oak in LG. My favorite professors are probably Rowan and Juniper. Rowan actually CLIMBS MOUNT CORONET in DP, which I find to be pretty cool. Juniper is just nice and seems like someone you'd actually want to meet. Least favorite to me is probably Birch because I can't remember a thing about him after he gets chased around by a Zigzagoon.
     
    My first professor was Rowan. I started playing pkmn right when dp came out during 2006, so its why :P
    (I was 6 years old during dat time -.-)
    And as for fav...I do t think I have one xD. Juniper? Because she have a nice attitude ^^ or Oak, whos hilarious
     
    My first Professor was the LEGENDARY Professor Samuel Oak himself. He was the first NPC I talked to in the Original Red Version; it was he who gave me a Charmander on my first playthrough of any Pokemon Game, set me off on my journey, and subsequently changed my life FOREVER!!!

    My favorite Professor is Oak, partially for the above stated reasons but also for the fact that I find his field of study the most intriguing; the relationship between Humans and Pokemon. Often, well mostly when I'm bored, I sit down and contemplate the deep philosophical questions of the Universe. In particular, the meaning of life and the purpose of existence. As always, my mind would fall on Pokemon and I would imagine Professor Oak and Mewtwo conversing on the same topic. Given Mewtwo's origins and ideas from the first movie and later sequel, a conversation between these two parties did well to stimulate my brain.
     
    My first professor was Birch since I started playing Pokemon with 3rd Gen. Saved him with a Mudkip that I eventually took as my beloved partner around Hoenn.

    As for my personal fave, it's Juniper. She's the only female professor and you know how much of a 5th Gen fan I am. I always enjoyed her personality and the fact her dad is a professor too!
