Prom Night

Never attended nor gave it a second thought. Acquired an aversion to physical touch in high school. Ruled out dancing (which never sounded pleasant to begin with). Hated/feared people far more back then too.

Honestly I wasn't interested in it. My high school boyfriend was out of town during Prom Week so I ended up not going. He would have loved to, but I didn't want to go by myself (all my friends back then were younger than Junior-level)

nope. wanted to go, but i was too broke to afford prom, so i couldn't. :c

... didn't seem like i missed a whole lot, though. didn't seem like my kind of thing from the secondhand details i've heard about it. so i'm not really bothered about missing out at all.

didn't care for prom at all (i also passed on every homecoming as well which worked out since iirc two out of the four years we had a band competition on the same day anyways--). junior year i just didn't go and then senior year when you're really supposed to go i had a bunch of friends over at my house instead bc they all didn't go to prom. p much all stayed the whole weekend bc it was also the weekend of my eighteenth birthday.

playing video games and such with friends was far more a good experience than standing at a dance where i would have much much not have had a date for.

I had fun at mine! Went in my last year of high school, it was on my birthday too so it was a nice way to see all my friends that day. I remember that they sang happy birthday and made you come out to the front... I felt my soul exit my body then HAHAH but other than that, it was super fun. I ended up going with a friend as my 'date'. Also remember having never felt so fancy in my life as I have definitely worn nowhere near that amount of a fancy dress/makeup up until that point in time \o/
