4.5/10 Tbh I don't like it. It's way too derivative of other Pokemon. We did a line of fire/fighting starters the gen right before with Blaziken's line and did it way better. It's story in the anime is a total rip-off of Charmander. And Chimchar's look just tries too hard to be cute for me. Its not a bad Pokemon, by any means-- it'll evolve into something at least strong, but I confess I still don't like Infernape.
