    I have red hair.

    I get laughed at, called a m***e, Red-head, gengi or something for having red-hair. I really don't get why people do this. I mean, 1/8 of the population probably have red hair. I was wondering what they're on about. I heard it's like blondes, but why red-hairs too?
    It may be because kids think being hairist to just one hair colour isn't enough.
    But then why isn't there anyone being laughed at for being called black-haired or brown-haired? Is black or brown hair what society has decreed as normal? I really don't get it, it doesn't make me a single bit smarter, stupider, funnier, seriouser, or anything more than anyone else just from the fact that I have red hair. sure, I have red hair making my hair tone different,
    but does that suddenly mean that my brain functions differently?
    so I was just wondering if it's just they feel red hairs are too stupid or too smart or something.
     
    No one is made fun of because of their hair color at my school, if it's their natural color. I know some red-haired people and they are popular. I don't see why you have a problem. I sure hope it stops. If you wanted to know, I have brown hair.
     
    I love red hair. It's a very unique and beautiful hair color. People who would insult you or make comments on your hair color are just immature, and have no life. They think it's cool to pick on others, though it's not. Those kind of people are always trying to find the target of humiliation for every person. They're probably just uncomfortable with themselves, and find comfort in teasing other people. You shouldn't worry about them, their comments are not worthy of your attention.
     
    I'm a dirty-blonde, so I know about the ridiculing... It gets old... Especially when you look around at all the others who have the same hair color... So... My advice is to ignore the imbeciles that make fun of your hair or have a snappy comeback like, "And? What about my hair? It's red. Yours is brown! At least my hair doesn't look like dirt!" lol ^_^ Chin up. You're not alone. By the way, on guys, red hair is really cute, n.n, the women'll be after you in no time.
     
    It's some 'label' thing. This guy I usually see on the bus has black spiked hair and he always calls me a gengi(sp?) I was mainly wondering what that meant. Usually kids call red-hairs m***e at random, which is someone with
    red...err...'pubic hair' Although I don't know how they know the colour, if they have somehow seen the colour of that, I'd be sort of worried...
    What I wanted to know was what a 'ginger' was
    (Say it as 'gun-guh or something)
    so i'd at least know what it meant.
     
    I think it's mean. =/ I love red-hair also, it's so unique... (Not like mine...) Ignore their teasing like Blaine said. n_n
     
    I think all of the hair colors are unique. Sure, maybe brown is the most common hair color, but it still doesn't make it plain compared to something like blonde or red. You need to learn to love yourself, because face it, you can't change anything... unless you get plastic surgery or something. O_o But that's still so unatural.

    Well, to tell the truth every red-head that I've ever met has been a pain. Not that I would make fun of all red-heads... except for one that makes fun of me.
     
    I think they are very dumb! they should not tease anyone because of the hair color!
    Your brain is not effekted by your hair color, and the hair color is not effected by your brain. I should know! Im a blond, and you have maybe heard that blond girls are dumb and bimbo like, but that is not true! Im very intellegent and Im not bimbo like at all! and i have several relatives that has red hair and they arent stupid, well they arent as smart as me but they arent dumb. so dont let those bullies put you down and show them that you are much better than they!

    It'z kinda ztupid if people make fun of other people becauze of their hair color -_- Like when they make fun of blondez saying that they are airheaded and cluelezz. I have zeen many blondez at my school get ztraight A'z, zo obviouzly it ain't true -_-

    (i was born with whight hair it goes from light blonde to whight in a year)
    I think red hair is cool though well,better than mine!
     
    Although I'd like an exotic hair color like pink, I think hair is pretty regardless of color. And teasing someone because if it proves several things.
    -That person will not go far in life
    -They also have no life currently
    -They'll never get to know you, a far nicer person than they are.

    what kind of idiotic discrimination is that? I have heard azll the blonde jokes, but it seems that every (natural) blonde at my school are in all AP classes. What makes redheads any different? Although the few redheads I know are annoying people, I'm sure they're not all stupid, annoying people.

    Biologically, darker hair is a dominant gene, so the majority of the earth's population have either black or brown hair. that's why I think redheaded or blonde people are unique. you should be proud Sudowoodo Prince

    It's so sad that there are so many idiots in the world...honestly, picking on someone for their hair color is the lowest of the low. There are quite a few redheads at my school and none of them have ever been picked on...not even the people with blue or orange hair, everyone likes it. These disgustingly shallow and self-centered people are vermin...I intensely dislike every single one of them. The prep hierarchy has dissolved at my school somewhat so people don't care a lick about what other people wear...but I hear in the 1980s you could get beaten up if you didn't wear anything Jordache brand...I love red hair...it's the rarest type of hair there is and if someone has it they should be proud of it. I was platinum blonde for a number of years before I got older, and that seemed to be the only thing kids didn't make fun of me for when I was in grade school...it's so sad that there are people that shallow in the world still. Truly arrogant preps make me angrier than almost anything else. They think they own everyone and that no one has any emotion. They are enslaved to fashion and all their guilty pleasures and they try to infect us with the bi-product of what it has done to their minds. Don't listen to them...they're shalllow, thoughtless...they have no true self. Red hair is beautiful...all hair is beautiful, and you can rest assured that those fools will never have a thought or desire any deeper than what the bounds of their idiocy can make them think or want. You are a true person...those who suffer are more worthy than those who inflict suffering. Take pride, and never believe a word of what they say.

    And to add, my definition of "prep" is a shallow, usually popular person bound by the rules of modern culture and fashion who mocks other people for something physical or something they cannot control. I know different people have different definitions, so I thought I'd clarify mine so I don't cause any offense.

    I can never remember the last time someone was dissed becasue of theitr hair color...

    My scottish friend (chaskis sato) has BLOOD red hair...and no one disses him...cept for me :) :) :) :)
